Authorize.net for new eBay account?
 

PayPal is just horrible. I can't deal with there fees and policies. I'm able to get a merchant account for 2%. I don't mind paying 2% to avoid PayPal's abusrd terms.

I have a new account thats three weeks old, 5 items sold with $300 of products sold. It's a stealth account; would eBay trigger a suspension if I called in and connected my merchant account to my eBay account? Most importantly do my funds come instantly? Or does eBay not send the funds over to Authorize.net or my merchant provider until a certain period of time?

I didnt think this was possible, I thought they forced you to use paypal

Ebay does allow merchant accounts, here is a link eplaining

One of my customers just recently added authorize.net to an account I sold him and even used the VCC that came with the account and all went well. So it is definitely possible.

I can't imagine ebay can hold funds from a merchant account. Merchant accounts can do that on there own.
