Sell and Ditch or Keeper Accounts?
 

I am curious as to how many eBay accounts others go through on average per month or how long you typically keep an eBay account? Do you sell and ditch or keep them for longevity?

I like to keep mine and make them feel special
I like to hold mine up on a pedestal
I like to show them that they are worth the wait

What are people doing with the accounts that they're going through them like toilet paper? I'm only creating multiple amazon accounts to hedge my bets in case amazon decides to shut me down for bogus reasons. All the products I sell are genuine so I doubt I'm going to be dealing w/ accounts constantly being closed.

I use to abuse and throw away my accounts on a constant basis....then I saw the light and learned to treat them good.

Nurturing accounts is IMO always much better as a long term selling strategy

I don't make any new accounts monthly and I don't abandon accounts.

I treat my oldest stealth accounts like gold, irreplaceable to my business

I will be honest I am definitely 100% planning for longevity when I create accounts but if times are really tough or when eBay is unfair I sometimes accidentally lose my password and can't get back on to pay my fees.

I try to keep accounts as long as I can. I have accounts that are years old but I was just wondering how long most people keep them. Sometimes I want to ditch and not pay fees lol but I know my profits way surpass the fees.

If you're voluntarily getting a good account suspended to avoid paying fees, I'm sorry, but that's stupid as hell.

It takes time, effort, and money to build up accounts, get positive feedback, etc. If you're willing to throw that away to dodge a month's worth of fees, then your business model sucks. I mean, how much can you even cheat them out of? A couple grand? That's chump change if you're actually selling good products.

Longevity is definitly key for me, I just can never get anywhere near the same results with new accounts as I do with my aged accounts, so I always baby them

Most of my stealth accounts are atleast 5 years old. Some are 8 years old. I make a few accounts here and there every year. I keep them for the long run. Knock on wood but I haven't lost an account in many years.
