people who bought an account...

I am still recovering from getting my account shut down last month, while I did make my own from scratch It has a super low limit and I'm running out of sock money lol. I'm curious if I bought a 50/5k ebay account can I list a lot of stuff on it right away? i know that a lot of it wont sell but i have so many different things to list that if i don't have all of it listed i lose the chance of selling. give me some help guys i gotta persuade the old lady to let me do this lol.

Re: people who bought an account...

This is really a question you should message the USA sellers about.

What do you consider to be 'a lot of stuff'
are your items brand named and what is the $$ value

Re: people who bought an account...

It's risky to list products for sale right away on stealth accounts

You must build cookies for at least a couple weeks to establish some history on the account

Once you've established cookies, start listing low-risk sales. Once you've established low risk sales, you can move onto higher risk sales

Re: people who bought an account...

they sell for just over 100 dollars. they are auto parts. legit stuff. i produce everything personally. lets say i wanted to list 30 items at 135 dollars each. if i list all of them will it mess the account up? doubtful they would all sell since it would be a new account with 0 feedback but its the fact that there is a lot of options that i need all of them available .

Re: people who bought an account...

That many items being listed for sale on a brand new stealth account will get you suspended very quickly.

Re: people who bought an account...

see i don't want to buy an account and it go down. but i feel like if I'm only offering 5% of my stuff that its not even gonna reach people.

Re: people who bought an account...

i personally would be more worried about the value rather than the quantity.

Listing 50 items (example) buy now, does not mean you will sell all 50 straight away.

I sell feedback accounts on here, and never have issues with listing items after creating the account, as long as you browse ebay and add items to watch etc.. it will be fine.

I have never waited 2-3 weeks to list on an account (on purpose)
I dont see what the difference would be honestly, because when you are a new seller you are still a NEW seller regardless if you wait 1 day or 20 days.

its more about staying under the radar with ebay.

If you were to sell brand name items @$100 each and sold all 50 of them then yes, that is risky.

if you sold 50 items at low value and not a brand name, then i dont see it being a risk.

However car parts have been known to cause issues on new accounts, espcially if you list them flat out at $100.

I will tell you this: I no longer create my own Stealth Accounts. I purchase them in the market place because the sellers are tried and trusted professionals when it comes to Stealthing. I have never had an issue with one of their accounts and would recommend it if you need to get back on eBay fast!

Re: people who bought an account...

My personal experience, if you try to list more than 1 item with a stealth account, the risk of getting ban is very high. You should sell one item each time as you build up your track record with ebay. Even if you have a lot of items limit, you won't be able to list all and sell at the same time without a proper track record.

Re: people who bought an account...

5-10 items per mo is my recommendation until you get over the 90day mark. It varies on what items you sell

Re: people who bought an account...

Every situation and category is different and then the exact item itself.

More problematic is paypal. Start collect gobs of money and they will require docs. Lots of ways of handling this. Most of the members on this forum have a hard time with supplying invoices.

As for you small limit accounts, list to the limits, sell some items and upload tracking and they increase very fast.
Need bigger limits? Juts make more accounts.....

Re: people who bought an account...

If you need money while you're setting up your stealth accounts, there ARE some temporary solutions. You'll make money but making less of it.

For United States residents, ONE alternative is to go on craigslist and go to services with keyword "EBAY" -- there should be a few sellers selling things for people.

Not a permanent fix, but if you need income, you can try that.

Re: people who bought an account...

i know i wont sell all of the items i list but i just know that if i offer all the different options that there is more chances to sell. a guy with a chevy isn't gonna buy from me if i only have ford items listed and vice versa. i just need to list all options and attract more people.

Re: people who bought an account...

Take it from someone that has experimented with this parameter. If you use anything lower than a 500/25000 account, it will be extremely slow. I have even encountered risk with the bigger 500/25000 account. You still have to baby that size account and list to the sellers recommendation. The 1000/25000 account are far less likely to get banned easily, but dont push your luck. You should at least gain 10 complete sales over the course of a week at least to somewhat cement the account for further use if you plan on selling an item a day.

Re: people who bought an account...

so listing 30 items on a 25k account is ok?

JamesNorth101 08-25-2016 04:48 AM

Re: people who bought an account...

That would depend on what the 30 items are. So long as they are low risk items then it's not a problem

Re: people who bought an account...

You should be fine listing household, garage auto parts items as long as you don't get any complaints or negative fb or intimidate a "big box" seller. If me I would list 20 or so and after a few sales increase X10 and so forth until you reach your limit. Welcome to the forum and good luck.

Re: people who bought an account...

I started a stealth account and started selling 10$ USD items. Sold 10 first day. Asked for my limit increased, they increased it to 30 items/2k the next day. Been 3 weeks not a single issue.

A guy who starts selling is a guy who starts selling. Imagine they investigated every single seller on eBay?
But, if you sell $100 items, let's say reaching 10 a day, you'll get attention.

I'm still learning, so I don't know why I'm spewing advice like an expert.

Re: people who bought an account...

Non of us have the correct answer. Most of us will always suggest slow sales. Some of us sell a lot right away.

Some people hardly sell anything for 90 days and others are loading EINs in less than 30 days.

The only way to know for sure is to list, test and experiment. Every category, every item and seller etc... is different and will have unique experiences.

Re: people who bought an account...

My suggestion would be buy 3 lower limit accounts like the 5/500 ones list the limit on ea account the limits will go up fast and in 90 days you will have 3 accounts to sell on not just one spread it out and you can sell a bunch of stuff with little impact in eb/pp eyes
