Ok to use same name when making a new account?
 

I just wanted to ask for future reference, is it ok to use the same name when making a new eBay/Paypal account? Is the first and last name alone enough to link a new account to a suspended one?

Everything else would be different in this case such as address, phone number, etc.

Best to use entirely different information to avoid any probability of links :spy:

You have a 50/50 chance of going either way......flip the coin to see what happens.

It is possible. For examples sake, I've been..... John, Johnny and Jonathan Bloggs. All with different addresses whenever I have moved house.

Names are not unique so you would be unlucky to get busted just on a name.

Same (or similar) name and same IP/address/user account etc would be a different story I'm sure.

If you are trying to avoid bank mismatched name issue, You can use a slightly different name (1 or 2 letters), a variation of the name also could do the job (Jim, Jimmy ...)
