Separate profiles on firefox for Mac
 

Hi Guys,

I downloaded a 3rd party copy of firefox portable for mac - it seems to be a really old version of firefox.

Then I found an article whereby I can download the latest Firefox browser and adapt it so that I can create separate profiles.

Is this basically portable Firefox in a different guise and even more so is it safe for stealth?

I was able to create a master copy and download ccleaner, canvas defender and followed the about:config guide as posted on here. Then i duplicated that folder with no problems and the new profiles had all the add-ons/plug ins installed as per the master copy.

I am not great on the technical aspect of what i'm doing but have got this far so i'm just hoping someone can tell me if I can use firefox like this?

Probably be easier to have separate Portable Browsers.

am i wrong in thinking portable firefox doesn't exist for mac or the version that does exist is a third party old old version of firefox?
