Default Are Hot Wheels considered high risk?

Hi everyone. Since I have more eBay selling experience than my husband he asked me to sell his Hot Wheels collection. Would it be considered high risk to sell these on my new stealth accounts? Of course I won't sell them in one big lot I will divide them up into smaller quantities so prices stay low. Your advise is very much appreciated.

In 2 mins? My wife is just as impatient... She's always yelling at me about something I didn't do fast enough...

I wouldn't think so. But have no experience with selling them so my answer isn't reliable. It could take days or weeks before someone with experience selling in that category replies. And that's only if they read the thread.

If your that worried about it sell some used none branded items, like 1 or 2 just to get feedback. take a loss if necessary. something stupid.

But if it were me. I would just list a couple of them straight out the gate. my first item listed would be something from the dollar store though. I'd take the picture right in the store not even buying the item unless it sold. But that just me. Then the next few items I'd list would be the toys. Not too many though, just a few.

I think your over thinking it..

Are they $5000.oo rare classics or just a few bucks and unlikely to be copied? new used ?
New stealth like yesterday new or 1 month old new I wouldnt list any branded items as my very first listing. If you have sold a couple items and these are not rare then i would feel safe enough to give it a whirl but with eb nothing is for sure !!

I'd hazard a guess that no, they're not high risk unless they're crazy expensive for some reason.

Try a few, but don't flood the market.

While Mattel (producers of Hot Wheels) are not on ebay's vero list, go slowly - don't start with high end sales...I don't foresee a problem. I have sold lots of Mattel collectibles

I would not have made the comment after only two minutes. :-) Anyway, we have a few Japanese ones but mostly a lot of early 90's. No treasure hunts but we have about 1500 cars give or take a few. All still in the package. I didn't want to go too crazy and sell a large quantity at once on an account with no feedback if it's too risky.

Might not want to over do the number of listings , Mite do better listing in groups like 5 at a time to save in shipping fees

Wouldn't consider very high risk but if the accounts are very new I would advise to take it slow, list a few at a time, see how it goes. If the accounts were older could list a lot more faster
