With new items i often get alot of new eBay buyers, i dont see that as a deal breaker where they are a scammer. But with buyer requirements i set everything with the highest security possible, allow the lowest amount of cases in the longest stretch of time, only accept buyers with a paypal account, block any buyer that are from a country on my exemption list, etc....
Also i ship domestic only , im in the US and ship only to the contiguous 48 state and no PO BOX.
With new popular items your able to set restrictions high and still get a ton of buyers, and cant remeber the last time i had any chargeback or buyer saying they didnt receive the item. No scammers
In your case im not sure the location you made the sale. If it is international and a new account u may want to think about whether or not u want to complete the sale, but in the future tighten up all buyer settings , sell only domestic when selling iphones and similiar items.
Definitely get signature confirmation if u do ship |
