Do I need a VCC when making a stealth eBay/Paypal account?
 

Hello, I was wondering if getting a VCC was really necessary when making a new eBay/Paypal account in the U.S.?

I have heard some people talking about only using a VBA and being able to list items without a VCC.

Generally I would use both a VBA and a VCC

You don't have to use a VCC, but they are worth it IMO

All right thanks for the quick response. So are the VCC/VBA just used for verifying the account before adding your real bank account to withdraw funds?

You are right, both VCC and VBA are used for verification purposes only.
You will need a real bank account in order to withdraw your funds from PayPal.

People usually are using VBA to see if the eBay selling account will be getting a good selling limits before using a real bank account, to avoid the risk of burning a real bank account on a 'useless' account.
