Why don't people sell eBay accounts past the 21 day hold?

I am curious as to why I can't find anyone selling eBay accounts that have passed the 21 day hold period (90 days past first completed sale). This is much more useful than the accounts that are being sold on this forum and even though some aspkin users have more of these accounts than they will ever need nobody seems to want to sell them. Is this for a reason such as the 21 day holds coming back once the withdrawal method is changed or something like that or do sellers just think too short term and don't want to wait 90 days for their accounts to reach that point before cashing out?

sellers need to SELL on the account for the holdz to go away and not all sellers do that.

If you do not sell on an account, you have no way of knowing if there are holds or not on an account.

They are supposed to be the professionals who know how the accounts work. You are the only seller I've seen selling accounts past the 21 day hold but I need them to be from the US. Otherwise you would solve my problem. :pout:

Let me explain what the problem is......In the past, 21 day holds were taken off at a certain Dollar Amount ($), Number of items sold (#), and 90+ Days were met. So let's say the Account seller gets the Ebay/PP account past the 21 day hold...what you have not taken into account is - What type of item was sold + AND the Dollar amount of those items.

So let's say the Account Seller uses $4 items or $10 items, and you buy the account and start selling $200 items....well guess what, those items you listed at $200/pc are going to get 21 day holds put on them.

Right.. you can have an account without holds one day.. switch up what you're selling or up your volume and the holds come back. PayPal is very flakey these days.

It's turning a lot of people off and pushing them to competing payment processors. There are so many other choices out there.. PayPal is not doing itself any favors with all these restrictions and limits.

Myself personally, If I am going to create an account, log into it, list on it, sell on it, add a bank account and withdraw from it and operate in a way to have 21 day holds removed 90 days from now, the account is worth a lot more to ME than any sane account buyer would be willing to pay.

I feel like someone having huge success making thousands of dollars a week on eBay who suddenly gets banned for some ridiculous reason would be willing to pay big bucks for a replacement account (my position about a year ago). Unfortunately I haven't recovered from this so I can't pay thousands anymore but at the time I quite possibly might have done exactly that... but I guess if the 21 day holds are going to come back anyway then it won't work for high volume sellers.

Making no 21 day hold accounts is massive hard work. You might find one, but rarely goodluck.

What is an account a year old with a transferable LLC, bank account, phone, credit history and has handled 20-30K a month with a few thousand feedback, 2 neutral and 2 negative 99.8% Top Rated plus account that sells $9.99 to $800 items?

I mean, the hardest part of about creating accounts like this is the first 30 days and then the next 60 days. That is the problem here. It is so much more valuable as a business than an account.

I get what you're saying and in that scenario you're right it would be worth more as the business than being sold for just the eBay account. I am talking about an account with maybe 25-100 sales (at an average of $20 per item) over 90 days and has no associated tax info. Just enough sales and age so that the 21 day holds are removed. In my current position I would love to buy these and in the future I would love to create and sell these.

Then that account is next to worthless because you will get paypal tax limited at around 120 items.

How much a completely verified account "US Ebay 1000/25000 + PP US with no 21 days hold" would be worth?

Once you buy the account you would then add your EIN (assuming it would be bought by a serious seller) or only sell ~120 items for the rest of that year BUT get the money right away. Getting the money right away is very important for not only cash flow but for being able to drop ship with a payment just received the same day, ie. use the money they just paid you via eBay to drop ship them an item from amazon for a profit.

Or if you wanted to get really extreme you might incorporate and transfer an LLC to be sold along with the account and sell it as a company with it's greatest asset being its eBay account. If we are talking $x,xxx per account this could totally be worth doing considering you can register an LLC for a couple hundred or less. I know for a fact that I would've bought one of these for $x,xxx after my biggest ban.
