Is this feedback extortion?

Customer: Wrong part.
Need to return
Record number 20XXX

Me: Return to xxx for a refund.

Customer: Return shipping label?

Me: I'm sorry but we don't send out return shipping labels.

Customer: It s alright. I ll send neutral feedback. Thanks.

Me: I'm not sure why you would leave me neutral feedback because I can't give you a return shipping label for a part that you ordered wrong.

Customer: Customer acquisition. No need to respond.

I'm curious that if he does leaven neutral if I can call eBay and have it removed or should I just respond. You can't make this stuff up.

I don't see any need to call eBay and ask them to remove a neutral feedback.
if the buyer decided to leave you a neutral review, just leave it as it is, neutral feedback is not that bad anyway!

It can go either way, they didn't say that if you didn't refund them they would give you negative or neutral feedback.

I don't like customers like this, but the best way to avoid is to put a disclaimer in the listing. That you are not responsible for buyer who order the wrong item or part.

I sell lots of clothing, I hand take measurements of everything. Sometimes I get people that bitch about sizing. Then I point to the listing were it says check and compare to something you own before buying to insure correct sizing. Then they shut up.

It sucks but sometimes crap like this can help you better what I call "idiot proof" your listings.
