Just an idea out of nowhere, completely hypothetical, what if someone on this forum could obtain employment by ebay/paypal to get an idea on the new measures being taken to fight stealth accounts via the minutes of meetings, morning discussions, etc.

And I know "but shadowhazard93, it's wrong to do something like that". BUT it would give stealth users an edge-a further look down the road of possible speed bumps that they may face.

How many new security measures, learning algorithms, and 3rd party research companies are being used or are about to be rolled of the line and screw hundreds of stealth users just trying to make an honest living on ebay/paypal but got screwed previously and found their way onto this forum that we do not know about?

Don't blast me for this post, just a thought. I'd do it if i were close to one of their locations.

What are your thoughts?

Dude, if you just focus your time on building a handful of strong stealth accounts rather than formulating conspiracy theories, you will do just fine with stealth. I can tell you for a fact that both Ebay and Paypal turn a blind eye to stealth accounts when they are run properly. Otherwise this forum and all of our accounts would not exist. Ebay calls me about my busiest account at least once weekly, and every time the eBay rep is greeted by a Google Voice recording telling them their call is being forwarded.

1. Many jobs posted on Paypal don't give access to these measure and technical info you mentioned.

2. Pay is not the greatest.

3. You'd have to get a job higher up the food chain - and, for that, who would really bother with PP and Eb /shrug

If you work in PP, it does not give you an opportunity to see the whole picture. I suppose that even PP reps can't see a reason why you were banned, so if you sit there, you still won't know how to avoid limitations.

To add to the issues with your plans youd need a very specific set of skills and education to get to precisely where you want to be to even get a glimpse at that sort of information. And as mentioned above - even then it will be only part of the picture. Also, once you leave and everything is rehashed yet again (as it is every few months) all your work is gone.
Not feasible.

Having consulted at many large corporations for 20 years, I can tell you that almost all information you want on these programs is likely readily available.

If you want to really sink their measures, get a job as an IT admin and do an Eric Snowden.

Forget sitting in meetings, you just need to look on the intranet and some sharepoint libraries for it.
