I remember reading on here.. Ebay unsuspending accounts?
 

I remember they sent out a letter or something like that they were unsuspendeding accounts that were suspended under the old criteria before the new seller update?. I had an account that I had made back in 2010 which has 100 feedback. Will ebay unsuspected this account if I call in, what exactly was this about?. thanks

I got the invite letter back. Reinstated my 50 $5000 account and started selling like crazy. Every 3 weeks they increase my limit. Now 2500 and $50,000. If you got the letter you can reinstate immediately.

When was the letter sent out and what was the subject line?? It would be AWESOME if I had my original account reinstated!!!

Sorry for necrobumping... I just want to say, a few months ago, I received a near-identical letter to kingdominvestment84's, except from a different eBay employee.

The email came from an "@ebay.com" email, addressed me by name and included specific info about my old eBay account, which was banned in the Donohoe purges and has not been used for years. We had some back and forth conversation about account reinstatement, and he wanted to schedule a phone call to discuss next steps. Then...he stopped responding.

I forwarded the email chain to spoof@ebay.com and they told me it was a spoof email! It was a generic reply, so I can't be sure they spent much time investigating. But I'd traced the email headers and the initial email & replies originated from eBay's corporate mail servers. It's really bizarre.

Has anyone else gotten this email?
