Default 24vc issue

Not sure if this is the right place in the forum to post this or not but hope so. Anyways, i have over 10 VPN's i am currently using from 24vc. So when i was logging into my ebay accounts today i did the same thing i always do. I go into a seperate user account log in and click on the 24vc app. But when i clicked on it i get a prompt saying " 24vc VPN has stopped working" and that a problem has cause the program to stop working.

Initially i was like hmmm okay i'll try a different user account/VPN. So i log off that user account and log into another one. I click on the 24vc app on that user account and i get the same message. So i think okay maybe something is up and i will give it a few hours. I just tried again on different user accounts after a few hours and i am getting the same message everytime i click on the 24vc app.

Any help would be appreciated. Anybody know what would cause this?

Have you tried re-installing the program?

no, i haven't done anything yet. You think i should uninstall it on all of my user accounts and re-install it? Any idea what would cause the program to just stop working out of nowhere?

Hi Johnny, make sure your using our newest software and not our old software:

VPN Client Software | 24vc

We released it about a year ago but if you've been a customer for longer than that it's possible your still using an older version. Can try installing the newest version on one user account and see if that fixes the issue, if it does, then can do it for all your user accounts.

If still having any issues, can always just use Softether instead:

You could check to make sure you do not have 'limited conectivity' or no connection at all.
If the old 24vc application does not find internet connection on starting, it crashes and produces that error. I suspect it leaves one or more service or thread still running so you might continue to get that error until you restart your computer.
The newer version works much better but I'm not too comfortable with the cluttered interface so I'll stick with the old one.

By the way I hope you're running your 10 accounts with care.

Here's a summary of how I run mine:

1. Windows unser account 1, = stealth name 1. Repeat for all accounts.

2. Windows firewall configured to deny all access to the internet except through 24vc - this way you would never link acounts.

3. Shadow defender to lock everthing 'as is' indefinitely. You wouldn't have to worry about installing an antivirus or window updates and so much more too numerous to print here.
