Reinstated Paypal for old eBay account?
I and my housemate shared an eBay store that only used my personal Paypal account for receiving money. My housemate's Paypal has not been used for our shared eBay selling. 3 months ago, Paypal put a permanent ban on both my and my housemate's accounts (because the volume through our eBay store started picking up and Paypal considered our volume to be high-risk). Paypal must have linked us because we live in the same address and we sometimes shared the same laptop. Even though my Paypal was banned, my eBay account is still active and in good standing with more than 6k reviews.
Today my housemate finally got his Paypal back by (somehow) persuading Paypal that he and I just live together but are not involved in each other's business. My question is, if I use my housemate's account to on our active eBay, would Paypal immediately ban us again? Would we risk getting our active eBay account banned as well now that the Paypal is under a different name? |
