| Juicyas | 05-15-2009 12:06 PM | Worst reason for a neutral/negative feedback? Of course, we've all had the neutral feedback 'ok' or similar.. have you ever had one that made no sense?
I got a neutral with the problem being that I sent registered post (I know.. I should burn in hell) and that he had to wait at the post office for 30 minutes to pick it up.
It's not even worth fighting, I'm sure anyone that cares about feedback and trawls through to find why people got 'negs' or neutrals will be on my side when they read that one  |
oompaloompa | 05-15-2009 01:36 PM | never anything that strange, just people being totally unreasonable.
Got a neutral for ' the blue jumper is not as black as in the picture'
As a buyer, I will tell you what i often wish i could say but just have it washed instead, plus it would be unreasonable -'item stank of cigarette smoke' hate it |
Jonas | 05-15-2009 01:43 PM | Cigarette smoke smell takes more than one washing to go away. Usually you gotta leave it outside for 2 months |
gurusgrafx | 05-15-2009 03:35 PM | I had someone say my item smelled of cigarette smoke too. funny thing I don't smoke and neither does anyone around the products. I was pissed. |
TGMT² | 05-15-2009 03:35 PM | Been selling on eBay for more then 3 years...and so far I have Never had a Neutral or a Negative with 1000+ transactions. |
GreenBean | 05-15-2009 06:25 PM | Oh, I had a neutral. In OZ, I used to do COD. So I arranged to met the buyer in a carpark. She was late but I waited. She paid, took the item &
left very happy. Then later that day left a neutral....wrote it was too difficult to drive to where she met me. (She suggested the address). Those were the days we could do mutual removal. Had to lick places:pout:
Revenge was sweet 'cos I saw she got naur'd a few months later. hehe |

I have had a few of each out of (guessing about) 10,000 sales.
Sometimes (like the one above) no matter who the seller was, they still would have given it. You probably should touch wood ;) |
gurusgrafx | 05-16-2009 12:57 PM | ^^^^yeah really. how you get to a 1000+ without running into one of those bad customers is beyond me. must be selling religious items. |

RimmingTon | 07-18-2009 04:25 AM | I had one in a non-english language saying they were leaving a negative as I had not replyed to their emails in their own language. All their emails were also sent in this foreign language. This was on eBay.com.
Naturally, eBay refused to remove it. |
Ebay_Victim | 07-21-2009 04:31 AM | shill bidders all grouped together to leave neg and neut.. they're all connected, very very obvious. what does ebay do? suspended me, after i requested 100 times for them to check. |
yoyoman | 08-05-2009 04:58 PM | I just had a jerk leave this for feedback- "Fast service"- neutral fb left! |
inleague2003 | 08-05-2009 06:23 PM | The worst one i saw the buyer said i paid immediately and seller didn't leave positive feedback.BAM negative just like that. |

I think I still left the guy a positive, but made a comment in the remarks section |
Lol, smokers never realize how much it stinks - everything they smoke around including themselves... I used to be one, so I know the difference. |
DogFacedBoy | 08-09-2009 10:09 PM | Funny, I smoke cigars and when I go out and smoke (never do it in my house) I don't notice the smoke. But if one other person in the bar is smoking a cigar and I'm not, I can smell it...not necessarily a bad thing, cuz I don't might the smell of a good cigar.
Amazing how many people (especially women) come up to me with cigarettes in their mouths and tell me to "put that stinky cigar out" |
tmyboy811 | 09-22-2009 03:13 AM | you gota admit i have the worst one...
sold an item (auction style) 30% of retail price (like i wasn't busy to end the auction if is ee it selling at that price)
left me a negative feedback saying "price is too good to be true, gota be something wrong" |
oompaloompa | 09-22-2009 03:45 AM | ^^mods remove; I dont like that last remark |

left me a negative feedback saying "price is too good to be true, gota be something wrong" | We do not need nor like the colorful details of what might be done to buyers.
Don't do this again.
I certainly do not appreciate your being disrepectful about ladies. :peace: |

left me a negative feedback saying "price is too good to be true, gota be something wrong" | What a nice buyer :hail: I would ask him to pay me more up to the price range he feels reasonable then revise the feedback if the higher price really makes him happier :bounce: |
alexzin | 09-23-2009 01:13 AM | I received a natural feedback the day before yesterday.Buyer left good to do business with in memo. |
bluemoon999 | 09-23-2009 07:43 AM | eBay really needs to revise their feedback system, so many unfair settings to sellers.
Everytime when I set the buyer requirement, when it asks me to block either -1, -2, ... just feel it doesn't make much sense to me.
I would say when a seller reaches to a certain trustful point/level, eBay should allow that seller to leave Negative or Neutral feedbacks to buyers. | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 05:49 PM. | |
