ebay feedback

hey guys, i need to know whether i can do this to get 20 seller feedbacks..

have two separate paypal accounts with an ebay on each paypal.. can i list an item on one ebay account and buy loads of item from the other account to give my other ebay good feedback and dsl ratings so paypal dont hold funds on my account for 21 days? i know that if i get 20 dsl ratings over 4.5 that paypal dont hold funds so i need to know how to get these ratings etc.. thanks everyone please help

I would not recommend this. Showing multiple purchases on a new account by the same buyer would throw a red flag up.

Bad idea. Just do what any normal ebayer starting out would do..... i.e. sell I few odds and ends from round the house - DVD's/Games/CDs are great starter items.

You can safely list 20-30 of these items per day. Start them at 99p, do free post and send 1st class/dispatch quickly. Within a couple of weeks you will have lots of shiny feedback and no holds on funds. The alternative is to let your account age for 30 days. This will also reduce the liklehood of holds.

:faint::nono: Bad, very bad. Runs foul of policies. Prepare for losing accounts if you do that.

You have to start & build up slowly...annoying but your long tetrm aim is to stay on ebay :ranger:

Also, unless things have changed...

If one buyer obtains many items from one seller within 7 day span of time, buyer and seller can only leave ONE feedback.

Example:
you buy from me on Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat, Sun
you pay.
I leave feedback but system counts all 7 as 1 point. Regardless of whether I give 1 fb at a time on different days, or all at once on Sun. 7 transactions, but only ONE point counts.

I know for a FACT that it worked that way just a year ago. I haven't paid any attention since then. FB means squat once you have 15. Other than that, it means nothing.

Its still this way, wife sold 7 items to a single buyer, all she got was 1 feedback for all 7

I had thought they had changed this recently? I guess not

Feedback System is the same !

I recently discovered that fact! Only 1 feedback given, per buyer within 1 week. I wasted a lot, learning that lesson!

Does anyone know how much feedback I can buy ($ 1) for my legit account without having problems or drawing attention ?

Is there a daily limit ? Weekly limit ? Lifetime Limit ?

Thanks in advance.

birti,
It's all in the thinking & planing I reckon. Say you allow yourself a budget of $80 to spend then, why go out and buy 80 $1 items. That's a couple of cents away from the amounts that started this FB manipulation problems.

Instead try a range of prices & items. When you search be very CREATIVE with the search parameters.;) Lot of stuff there for you that will get the FB increased :ranger:

Green Bean,

So you are saying that it is best to use that $80 Budget and spread it out into a variety of things, even though this may net me, lets say 50-60 FB ?

What is considered a safe daily purchase? 3-5 ?

GreenBean 10-27-2009 12:50 AM

When I launch a new baby, I try for between 20-30 FB within the first month of active use. The actual account has been made but not used B4 I start using it. Now we are all different... what works for me, may not work for you.
3-5 every 40 hours is doable. Point (again) pick what you decide to buy;)

Tip for fast feedback - buy from HK sellers

Just to leave a tip if you want cheap and fast feedback.
I noticed that many HK sellers have set up their system to automatically leave positive feedback for the buyer once they pay.
Many of them state this in their listing and they really do (from experience).
So you get an instant positive feedback once you have paid.

And since they sell items for very cheap, you can resell these items at profit to the many UK buyers who will not buy from HK sellers.
And since you can make a profit, you do not have to stick to £0.99 items.
Many of them have like thousands of feedback from UK buyers too so go for those items that UK buyers like and that are not expensive and that are not considered as high risk.
This also gives you lots of random no-risk items to sell.
Of course, don't buy only from HK sellers but throw a mix of them with UK sellers.
Change "UK" to whatever country you are in.
