Default What's the best way to build seller feedback Fast?

If you search in ebay : 100% Positive Feedback. Loads of Auctions come up selling with this title....selling pictures. Is this a good way of getting feedback? or a bad way?

Alot of these people have feedback of 80 - 200 already. If this is a bad thing to do and ebay can ban you then why are these sellers risking there accounts ?

Yes, this will definately get you banned.
I used this 'technique' and built myself approx 30 positive feedbacks over a week or so. I got banned for 'Feedback Manipulation' and it also managed to wipe out my Paypal account aswell.
Done properly - selling for instance some paper manual or instructions for $2 to $3 a shot - works quite well. However, starting sales for digital photos at 0.01, and 'selling' them for 0.09 each, will get you wiped out straight away.

Here's another risky way to do it, like I said it is risky, wouldn't be recomended, but if you like risks then this would be the easiest way to get 20 dsr. You set up 20 buyer acounts and buy 20 items from your seller account. The main risk is getting linked of course.

Unless you have 100 seller accounts with no bank account attached then you simply inflate your feedback to where you want, like say 25, wait a few days and if all is good you add your bank info. If 1 gets suspended your only out a phone number and a giftcard activation fee, not that big a deal to me, if you only have a few accounts then yeah that might be a big deal.

That means you'll have 2500 buyer accounts, or 25 buyer accounts leaving feedback for the same 100 sellers?

That's just asking for at least 125 accounts to go down.

Actually I just tried that with 1 seller account and 20 buyer accounts, it was too much of a hassle. It's much easier just to sell 20 or 30 ebooks to anyone then you only risk 1 account.

ebooks are high risk. If you start selling those and then start selling something else a month later...... yikes.

I think anything can be risky if you make a sudden change in sales, like 100 cell phone cases and then $2000 laptop, there should be a smooth steady transition in anything you sell to keep the flags down. I saw 1 seller who had 97 feedback from ebooks and his last 98th feedback was for a $980 camera lense, now he's no longer registered user.

Now if he would've started selling camera related ebooks and accessories, then started selling lower priced cameras and equiptment under $100 then he would have been much better off.

This seems like a good thread for the following questions. Thank you everyone who has posted--I have learned so much from this forum! Alright, experts, your opinions please:

(1) I don't see how buying feedback is valuable; I want to sell for feedback. Do you think I can sell a $2 item BIN in a quantity of 10 without getting busted for feedback manipulation? How many times? And are these volume thresholds in terms of listings or sales? Specifically, if I list this quantity of 10 but actually sell 0, does eBay immediately forget about it like it never happened, or will they hold it against me?

(2) I want to then sell very high-priced items using classified ads, which of course do not integrate with the ebay dashboard selling tracking, etc. Is ebay going to respond to this as "We don't track this, therefore we don't see this, therefore how could we care" or is this going to come to their attention as me selling high-priced items? I have noticed that some people use classified ads with 1 cent listing prices that have nothing to do with the ad.

(3) If a one month gap between (1) and (2) is not long enough, does anyone know what time span would work?

Thank you for your expertise; I appreciate it.

I understand that it is a bad idea to sell ebooks and 1 cent items, but what about buying them? I have been building up feedback buy buying this cheap items in bulk quantities. Is this bad? Will this flag my account?

I have my own websites so sometimes I buy backlinks or seo services on ebay but not too much, the prices range usually from 5-25$. I need to buy these anyways for my websites since I dont have time to do SEO manually, etc. I guess buying too many of these can also be risky since its purely virtual.

I have bought my own items in the past to get DSR feedback. Worked fine without a problem. Of course I used different accounts and was careful not to get linked. I also don't buy and leave feedback right away. I leave feedback 1-2 weeks after.
