how to get 10 feedbacks,

what do I need to do to get 10 feedback, as fast as possible, without raising any red flags?

ebayerOG 11-25-2010 12:38 PM

buy or sell 10 different things simple no other way to do it

pod 11-25-2010 12:49 PM

Be careful with "fast". Especially if you blast out selling right away

Dont buy too much crap at $.99. Get stuff you can use so its not a waste of money if you have access to address

Shortcuts of any kind are dangerous so keep that in mind. Best to cultivate accounts slowly

agree with this, just make it slow, because if you got hurry its can be suspend your account...

Act normally like you are not a stealth ebayer.

Fast is bad. Ends up you fall victim and lose an account:rip:

janoe0607 12-03-2010 02:56 PM

Ebay didn't like that "fast" thing, just be careful :D

aking 12-03-2010 05:09 PM

Yea its so easy to want to jump right in, esp when its your 50th account, lol. But you have to act like your new to ebay. search around the site, search a few things, watch a few items, etc. I would wait a month before buying.

On my most recent account I basically searched around for 2 days, then bought 1 thing for 0.06 cents (even if it was a scam, 6 cents is dandy, right? [thoughts of a new ebayer])

Then a couple days later I started bidding on all the 1 cent auctions for like ipod accessories and stuff (new ebayer just discovered you can get stuff for a few cents :P)

and now I have 11 feedback in about a week, listed my first item and all is going well!

brettvonstap 12-11-2010 11:47 PM

Hrad - did you list a Vero item? I was under the impression that the penny auctions brought up a lot of red flags.

Did your item stay up and sell?

Yep, listed and sold 3 things. All vero, all around $50.

What would you say would be the best way to do this scenario. I want to open a brand new account. Turn it into a seller account. But do not sell. Just buy like 2-3 things a day. Watch items etc. Then like when I get 90 feedback, just do one of my big listings. I sell formula and I would prob dump it on there for a buy it now, $300, quantity of 3. Do you think I would be okay?

dburnside 12-18-2010 08:46 PM

when u go to sell your first item ebay will probably ask for id and proof u have the item in pocession, for a new account i always send them a nice pic of me holding whatever im selling and it works fine

iandy3g 12-25-2010 03:08 AM

Ok..I'll bite and share my secret for getting feedback.. I'm amazed how people can't think through some of this on their own.

Stealth rule #1 is sell slow, #2 sell low price item so here goes...

1. Buy a case of 250 bubble envelopes on Ebay (or Amazon if you need them shipped to a linked address) #000 is a good size they're popular and cheap to ship. You'll use some anyway right? Cost:$17..you've got your first feedback!
2. Create a listing for 20 bubble envelopes with a starting bid of $3. They will close for $5-$10 usually.
3. Ship them in a Tyvek 12x14 expandable envelope. Postage cost: $2.55
4. Repeat

The GOOD thing about doing this is mostly ALL people buying bubble envelopes on Ebay are Ebay sellers that log into ebay very regularly and they will ALWAYS leave feedback and QUICK! I've run about a 98% feedback ratio doing this. Can't even remember the last time I didn't get feedback actually.

Ebay feedback left within a week = more items you can list against your 10 item limit per month.

And the even BETTER thing is I've really never lost any money doing this even with all the Ebay/PP junk fees and postage I've always ended up making a buck or two.

Ok I'm not currently nursing any new accounts but the next time I do and I see a bunch of bubble envelop sellers with no feedback I'm gonna be real upset I shared this...haha

Don't purchase any cheap digital products that can be emailed to you, instead purchase something that you'd really need, but not 10 things in 1 day, you have to take it slow.

missinglink 12-26-2010 01:12 PM

how do you purchase something you really need if it is going to a different address that u dont own

also how quick can u start lisitng after registration 30 days

You log into paypal and pay. If its going to a diff address observe when the USPS guy drops off the package then steal it up and then go to jail. How do you think man lol, think think think, either get a PO Box, make a variation of your address (ie change Ave to Rd will usually work) or use a friend or family members address (but ask him/her first)

or you could use your work address if your cool with your boss

ebayism 12-28-2010 07:58 PM

Before I found this forum I had an eBay account that I used to buy 50 digital ebooks off over 2 days. It cost about $60, but I ended up with around 48 positive feedback in about 7 days flat.

It was working fine for about 2 weeks until my original account got banned, and every other account linked to it as well.

So I ended up wasting a lot of time a bit of money just for feedback! Don't bother I think if you have an item someone wants and your listing looks decent you will sell it regardless of how much feedback you have.

If I was going to do it again I would do something like...

I have had many ebay accounts, all stealth, some I have lost but I presently run 3.. When I lost my first account I was so upset, now I just take in in stride and always have back ups.. I will open a few more over the next few months but the key really is to take it slow.. take it from me i know..my newest account is about 2 months old and i have all the restrictions a new account does, i have not checked it recently but i will tomorrow.. I have sold about 8 things on it so far, no problems. I have not bought anything. I do not want to raise any flags so i figure most people who use ebay to clean out there belongings really do not sell too much at once or sell too often. i will pick it up soon and then work on another new one.. i use different computers for all accounts, I feel safer that way.

cath 12-28-2010 09:53 PM

I also have an account that just came off a 30 day suspension last month, that account is resting. i have sold two things on it since and will list some things tomorrow.. a word to the wise, when an account has been suspended for any length of time and it is reinstated take it SLOW and be careful..I am still skitish with that one

I wouldn't even bother doing that, go to A*azon find a cheap book, go to ebay you will see price is higher. Sell book, go to A*azon buy book, mark as 'gift' send to customer. Rinse and repeat with a mix of items.

You would really drop ship an item from Amazon directly to your ebay customer? Have you ever ordered anything from Amazon yourself?? They have their giant name/logo on every box and package they ship out...I'm not sure how I would rate a seller on ebay if I bought something from them and it came directly from Amazon..I'd probably go on Amazon and look it up myself and realize you just screwed me. LOL

Interesting plan I guess...
