Really cmbhuy? You have seen your limits go up? I have a friend who also sells on ebay who does not push the limits either but so far the limits stay the same.....and no they are not high risk items. I have only a couple accounts so far and none of them have a change in the limits either. I'm not trying to question what has happened on your accounts but I am wonderingwhat we can do to get the same results. :ranger:

Why are people so crazy about getting fb?

I have not lost an account in a long, long time and never have the need to get fb.

I will get my fb the old fashioned way by selling items and shipping quick.

Please enlighten me on why are so many people wanting to build fb so quick?

I set up two eB accounts (with verified PP accounts) last fall (one in August and one in September) and after waiting about two weeks on each account I listed two articles of clothing and within 24 hours the items were removed by eB. I called eB and could not answer the questions and they requested documents to be faxed to them. Because I wasn't sure how to create the documents they requested I gave up. I hate that I burned two bank accounts with these two eB/PP accounts. I have purchased the stealth guide and have four eB/verified PP accounts "peculating" and will start with one account and list a non-name brand household item at a low price (under $5.00 with reasonable shipping) and see what happens. Here's hoping I don't lose these accounts!

i wouldn't think they would ban you for buying stuff (though i'm sure someone is going to come along in a minute and say "you're wrong. they ban buyer accounts if they catch you buying stuff").

on my last 3 or 4 accounts i used to set up, get the seller account, link to PP then buy a load of cheap tat (ebooks, batteries, single blank cds) to get the feedback up to 10 so i could ship internationally. all of them got shutdown within a week. i'm not sure if it was the buying cheap sh!t that caused it, or them linking those accounts to previously banned ones.

i have a question though. what if you were to set up an account as just a buyer, buy cheap crap just to get the feedback, leave it a few weeks then change to seller? would it still be highly likely you'd get booted?

If your buying only..you should be fine. If your buying for feedback for a seller account, not good idea.

I'm sure if you buy a lot of ebooks like right now and maybe in a month or two decide to sell on that account...it MIGHT be ok but who knows? :noidea:

Why not just but cheap stuff under a pound/dollar and sell them, and you should get some feedback. The loss on the items sold will be very little thou. I would say thats better than buying ebooks thou...

Stay away from ebooks, recipes, and all that digital crap. Buying feedback is really worthless for a selling account. You can have hundreds of buying feedback but if you don't even have a minimum of 10 selling feedbacks you won't get the 21 day holds lifted.

Buying feedback is good for making yourself look more trusted on ebay. All these people are scaremongering, buy the feedback.

agreed, i bought 800 feedbacks (all separate items-simcards,recipes,pictures etc) for one account and not one thing happened to it and that was 2 years ago i bought all the feedback and comparitevly the prices i got on that account outstriped similar accounts with little feedback
why would you get suspended for buying thats just stupid, just pay for the items you buy and you will be grand

don't sell that stuff 4 feedback though that gets you a mec notice
