| | | Slavaja | 06-20-2008 05:50 AM | To build up feedback I purchase packing supplies on EBAY well once i start making a lot of back up accounts i reakon buying postage and packing suppliers like sticky tape cardboard boxes, pre paid postage bags, postage bags, stamps, envelopes etc etc. and if your a high volume seller you will need a lot of packing suppliers so more stuff you buy off ebay more feedback you get. let me know you guys think :) |
| rond100 | 06-20-2008 07:18 AM | I use my back up accounts to buy stuff from myself and leave feedback 5-7 days later. This way it is free feedback.
When you get to 5-10 fedback start selling. |
| Slavaja | 06-20-2008 07:21 AM | yeh but for me i think its kinda easier to buy some from other people and by the way i need packing suppliers anyways because the post office is soo expensive |
| rond100 | 06-20-2008 07:40 AM | I think USPS gives you free boxes in you have an account. Maybe other supplies also.
I know we get priority mail and flat rate boxes for free from the USPS shipped to us through our USPS shipping account. |

| John14789 | 06-21-2008 03:30 AM | Good site just added it to my bookmark. How long do they take to deliver? |
| HairyOldEbayer | 06-21-2008 04:10 AM | Couple days after ordering UPS delivers.

| John14789 | 06-21-2008 04:11 AM | Are there products any good or are they crap? |
| HairyOldEbayer | 06-21-2008 04:36 AM | I use the jiffylite, never tried the house brand. But since they have been in business forever I don't think you will find them selling crap.

| John14789 | 06-21-2008 04:48 AM | I will definitely try them. How many packages do they provide in a lot?
What do you usually buy? |
| HairyOldEbayer | 06-21-2008 04:55 AM | Not sure what you mean by packages per lot. If you mean quantity of mailers it differs with size. I usually buy bubble mailers. Unfortunately the USPS has not gotten around to providing those free of charge. Maybe someday......

| John14789 | 06-21-2008 04:58 AM | Yes I did mean quantity of mailer. Ok will give it a go. Thanks for the website :) |
| pureas | 06-21-2008 06:59 PM | establishing feedback before you could toss up ebooks but not anymore. what are people doing these days for quick feedback since its hard to sell w/a 0 next to your user name |
| ebayhateluv | 06-21-2008 07:10 PM | HI: What "I" am doing, is purchasing items under $10--that need shipped.
i.e. household garbage bags i can use, cleaners, batteries, new dish cloths, towels, bathing suits, etc.
Will start buying back to school clothes + supplies next month.. |
| John14789 | 06-21-2008 09:47 PM | I would just buy anything star wars. I LOVE STAR WARS DOESNT EVERYBODY AGREE? :D
Other than that I would buy dvds, games, and whatever is cheap and interesting. |
| Lisa B | 06-24-2008 11:42 AM | Hairy - The Post Office does not supply packing tape for free, do they? I asked the post Office clerk(s) in person on more than one occasion if they supplied the USPS Priority Tape for free and they said no, they told me to go online and order the tape for free, I told them their tape is NOT supplied for free online. |
| HairyOldEbayer | 06-24-2008 03:27 PM | That's the problem nowadays, no one listens anymore. In this case i would listen to the government employee trying to help you.
"Hi, we are from the government and we are here to help you"
In this case that saying really is true.

| anonymous | 08-31-2008 06:04 PM | You used to be able to order more free stuff from usps online than you can now. My advice would be once you find a good source of free stuff stock up, don't assume they will be around forever. They used to have free tape, and they used to have a particular priority box size that was absolutely perfect for the stuff I sold but they did away with it. Just whatever you do, don't use a priority box and try to ship it media mail lol |
i have found a great method of making some feedback , i have 41 feedbacks as a seller in less then a month (about 2 weeks) and that is just on one account, i have 5 of these. If interested in my method pm me. FYI - i am selling legitimitate non vero items (cheap) with out making any money or loosing any money just for feedback. i may be able to put a few ppl on to this but to many will effect my buisness to much. |
| surf4sports | 08-31-2008 10:49 PM | how to make feedback on ebay a/c ? |
| anonymous | 09-01-2008 12:51 AM | Another way to build feedback while gaining a benefit is treating ebay like a blockbuster or library. Buy books and dvd's that will help you learn how to improve your business and then sell them back off. If you just try to get a below average price when you buy and get an average price when you sell, you shouldn't be too concerned about shipping and fees. Plus, your history won't show a bunch of cheap items.
ebayhateluv had a great point. I bet all of us can find a large list of things we buy on a regular basis that we could get from ebay instead. That method may be superior because while some will be one-off auctions from an individual, others will be from people who sell the same items on a regular basis. If you have sellers saved (on an outside list in case you lose your account lol) you can always have a list of say 50 items that you know you will buy, and get some decent feedback quick. Plus, if you are super cheap like me, you can buy coupons on ebay that you might use in a store. Find something super discounted that you buy a lot of? Get a few rainchecks to buy time, buy the coupons for that item, then go back to the store at your leisure. You've saved money and gotten feedback all at the same time.
In fact, another way is to sell coupons. You won't make a lot, but the sales will more than cover your costs. Buy or otherwise acquire 20 sunday newspapers. Clip the coupons so that you have stacks, paperclipped or stapled, of 20 identical coupons (ebay auctions are limited to 20 identical coupons.) You'll have quite a few depending on how good that sunday was. You might get lucky and some valuable coupons will be in that sunday's papers. Some people will buy multiples from you, but you are likely to sell most of your coupons cheap to many people. Many coupons will say void if sold etc etc and many sellers put something to the effect of "you are paying for my time to clip and sort not for the coupons themselves" but it's like jaywalking or speeding, everyone does it and no one really cares all that much unless you go crazy. You can just forget about selling ones for free items because they will take those down eventually due to heavy counterfeiting of those high value ones. I remember one guy made a killing selling coupons for free coke or pepsi. When you call to complain to the 800 number on the can and say you are not 100% satisfied, they will send you coupons for free product and you can imagine the rest- which is why many retailers won't accept these types anymore. When someone has stuff on sale and you show up with 20 coupons, and get the items free or cheap you can always say you bought the papers for the coupons or have friends and family (if they even care, which is rare), but when you show up with 20 identical coupons for free product of something that doesn't often have such a coupon it's pretty obvious it isn't right. |
| micburnet | 09-02-2008 11:55 AM | Great Ideas guys. I was always risking by buying .99 cent ites. Finally got my account banned trying to season it. Goes to tell you. I learnt that from an ebook. | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 09:13 PM. | |
