| jhn2001 | 12-25-2012 02:09 PM | popular 1$ item to sell ? do you guys know of any popular ones ?
just looking to build some fb ...
or may be an item which is mostly preffered by buyers who are establishing their new stealth account . |
Packattack12 | 12-25-2012 02:48 PM | Take a couple books off the shelf and take your own pictures, don't use the stock photo. Just look for things around the house. |
Airmick | 12-25-2012 03:03 PM | Ive been using screen savers for iphones I got 50 for $15 and resell them for .99.. You can buy them on ebay... |
Packattack12 | 12-25-2012 10:03 PM | Digital items are risky and aren't advised for a long term solution |
GreenBean | 12-25-2012 11:27 PM | As are $1 items.
More ideal, imo, to offer a variety of el cheapo items in the price range of $1 to $8.
Variety is the spice of life
:pop2: |
Futuremogul888 | 12-26-2012 03:31 AM | I go and buy items at staples, target, walmart, and home depot that range in price from $5 to about $12. I usually take a loss of between $1.50 and $4.00 for each item. Definitely worth it to build seller feedback and make my stealth account more solid and trustworthy in the eyes of ebay. An example of such an item would be a Black and Decker screwdriver. |
Speeder33 | 12-26-2012 09:54 AM | Definitly love to sell old items, but always take your own pictures to make yourself more legitamite in the eyes of ebay |
I personally buy wholesale plastic mailing bags and start selling them 10 pieces in one pack for like .99p. I make good profit and feedback. Good luck!!!!!!!!!!!:welcome; |
dreamer90 | 01-14-2013 11:13 PM | What I did on one of my accounts, I literally started out sellling sparkly paperclips which costed 0.05 cents each. sold 100 (for 0.99 each of course) of them, got 80 feedbacks, then i went on and sell other higher priced items.... shipping costs next to nothing with these paper clips. Also, you can sell a popular recipe, just print it out and send it to the buyer. Theres some ideas for you :) |

NGALO1983 | 01-15-2013 03:32 AM | Popular $1 dollar item to sell....I can name so much off top....However, if you are only looking for quick feedbacks and dont want to spend much money just sell the old magazines or newspaper you have at your house for couple of cents and wont cost u much to ship it because u can ship it "media mail" usps....Just saying...Good luck! |
mrbills10 | 01-15-2013 08:42 AM | Sports cards...100 of the same team for .99 |
jhn2001 | 01-15-2013 09:50 AM | @ ABOVE
i dont use indian accounts to sell |
Speeder33 | 01-15-2013 01:23 PM | 99 cent store is a gold mine if you have one around you |
Sandy D | 01-15-2013 10:46 PM | 0.99 cent items on a new account???
Good luck.
OP not meant to be rude but if someone knew a POPULAR item to sell and help them out do you really think they would post it online.
That item would be dried up by noon tomorrow with a million people selling the exact same item.
Yard sale junk is the way to go. |
I just go to Sandy's Trash and pick out stuff! |

zoneout | 01-16-2013 12:12 PM | ^^^^^ $1,000??? You would have to give me a grand just to look at it again.. My eyeballs are bleeding. Aargh! :help: |

i dont use indian accounts to sell | Then you need to use a different plan.
If you are building up feedback on ,say ebay.com, then I would not bother with the lowest cost items.
Here's a hint.............look at listings with 'free shipping'. See what could help you there.

zoneout | 01-17-2013 02:08 AM | Why are we building up FB? Is it to make eb happy or potential buyers? Just sayin... |

I keep fantastic records and not one account that I worked on buyer feedback ever got me anything other then some higher numbers for later use.
Seller fb, now we are talking.
Eb loves seller fb, buyer fb doesnt mean squat to them trusting you as a seller. |

@MM78, your new subhandle should be King of Pics.
@GB, one example of flyers is a local mall map :) |
GhostWhoWalks | 02-09-2013 03:36 PM | Hey guys what about shipping the items with tracking numbers for items costing you under $1 or $2 so you can keep top rated status with 90% tracking uploaded? What about that? I can sell stuff that fit in an envelope but the tracking part? Any one got any tips on that one?
Or just sell dollar stuff for way more then offer it with 1st class? |
Sandy D | 02-10-2013 03:23 AM | Most smaller food items come in under 13 oz.
Most smaller other items I buy are also under 13 oz.
Then I go to priority envelopes etc for larger and add tracking.
If I can I give free shipping so the buyers who are problems cant ding my accounts with low dsrs. |
GhostWhoWalks | 02-10-2013 07:22 AM | Well this item would be less then 1 oz then. And fit's in an envelope. Cost .99 cents. Just wondering if there is a way to get cheap shipping with it. I mean besides the stamp, and just insert any tracking # in it then? Just to pas with flying colors? I did it for digital items before and it worked. |
GhostWhoWalks | 02-10-2013 08:10 AM | Well I want to sell plastic items, just to build up a tiny bit of feedback cause I hate it when some customers give you not a full 5 star rating but 3 or 1 or 4 etc. And then you can't get top rated sellers status no more! Or you lose it cause of that one customer! I wanted to sell a few items for .99cents or $2 and put a tracking on the package but it's all being shipped in an envelope. So I can get my 90% tracking uploaded within 1 business handling day if not I'll do it how I did it before. |
Coupons also work for some. | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 05:43 PM. | |
