| | | | | albaniansniper | 01-25-2013 07:08 PM | Ebay is getting worse & worse lately! Ebay is getting worse & worse lately. Some buyers on ebay have gone crazy.
Here is my little BIG story.:help:
1) Sold an item
2) buyer never paid for the item
3) immediately after that left negative feedback, saying that: Selling counterfeit keygen software.Illegal and invalid. (Bla bla bla)
4) Next day::doh: Admitted that he did mistake me for someone else (Over selling competition)
5) Then, I send a request to retreat the negative feedback = decline
6) Then, I send a request to cancel the transaction........ = decline
7) ...and now he has open a dispute against me! Wants to get full refund for the money that never paid? Lying, saying that he did send me a cheque in the post.
In the listing description I only accept paypal or cash on collection. (No cheque,or bank transfer is mention)
I know that ebay stupid costumers support:rip: ,will always protect the buyers but in this case he never paid me and so, there is NO paypal transaction on hold ether.
Do you think this loser got any chance against me apart from leaving negative feedback and wasting my time!!!
Any suggestion I would appreciate. Many thanks.. |
| jenupy2j | 01-25-2013 07:39 PM | Hes probably a competitor. In this case, he wont accept anything you offer. |
| Packattack12 | 01-25-2013 09:28 PM | ^^^ Def think it's a competitor. Some A hole buyer bought one of my items last week and within minutes left feedback saying " Scammer seller, DO NOT BUY!! SCAM!". Buyer never paid or anything. I sent the buyer multiple messages...still nothing. Unbelievable.
I reported the post twice to ebay...and never heard from them. I will be calling tomorrow to see if they will remove it.
Some people are serious low lifes |
| GhostWhoWalks | 01-25-2013 11:17 PM | Ebay should have a system before leaving negative feedback. And show proof that the buyer emailed the seller and that the seller replied. And if the seller did reply and offer help they can no longer leave negative feedback.
You can remove the feedback if it is competitor, I read about it on ebay. Just call them up and they can read the email the guy sent you saying he did it for someone else. They will remove it and on top of it they can see that he didn't pay and the time he did buy it from you and the time he left you a feedback and there is no way possible they sent you a check that fast!
I know if they don't pay they can't leave feedback either.
I once wrote "this is competition leaving me negative feedback, I will call ebay about it" and within a few days it was gone on it's own. I never even called. |
| GreenBean | 01-26-2013 12:52 AM | Dont hold your breathe about getting the feedback removed.
It's typical of ebay not set in stone.
:pout: |
| yotano211 | 01-26-2013 01:02 AM | I thought ebay removed the option of accepting checks in the mail some time ago or was it only in the US. |
| albaniansniper | 01-26-2013 11:57 AM | I will wait and see for now. I'LL drop a note in few days whatever the outcome will be.
Thanks to everyone for your input. |
| Bunneh | 01-26-2013 12:03 PM | geez if this happened to me id be threatening the buyer with the police!!
Damn fraudsters all need to be locked up
Rant over.. |

If it is still showing as unpaid try opening a non paying bidder claim.
If it allows you to the feedabck should be removed at the same time .
Worked for me a few times . |
| Sandy D | 01-26-2013 12:12 PM | Competitor trying to eliminate you real quick.
Not much you can do if it is, they wont budge.
Might try it to see.
Only thing is to list several items unlike this to gain some good feedback. |

Worked for me a few times . | I re-open another dispute, to get my final fee back which is around £10 but got to wait for the buyers respond, but the same time, just after that he open one against me  . If he doesn't respond and pay for the item in few days time period then I have high hope to get my ' Buy it now' final fee back.
Welcome to ebay 2013:faint: |
| albaniansniper | 01-29-2013 12:21 PM | Good news!;)
Finally got my final fee back but the buyers case against me still open!
Emailed ebay costumer to close he's case manually and to remove he's negative feedback too but not sure if they can do something about that. For now is a waiting game until ebays respond. |
Forget the feedback issue for now....work on creating an UNPAID resolution...why are you doing this without first making that? That's basics of selling 101. |
| LoopHole | 01-29-2013 02:34 PM | He won't win the dispute unless he has proof that the item actually paid for the item... pp won't just go on his side just because hes a "buyer" and says he paid when in reality he hasn't. |
| boost | 01-29-2013 05:19 PM | This reminds me of an asshole I was dealing with a bit back on a different account. He paid, paypal gave me the hammer so I refunded him and told him wait until I sort out the paypal issue and then I can take payment again. He opened a case with ebay saying he didn't get his item....said he paid, got refunded and didn't know what to do from there. I was dumbfounded...uhhh, hello, you didn't get your item because I refunded you!?!? |
| zoneout | 01-29-2013 05:56 PM | Same rubbish happened to me. Some buyer bought an item then told me to cancel the order. 2 weeks later he opens item not received case. Loses that cause I had already refunded him but then leaves negative feedback with low 1 on all 4 DSR saying he never received item. This is horrendous! Are people that vicious on purpose or I think these are psychos with split personality disorder. One personality buys and other personality doesnt know about it. Maybe ebay should have psychological testing for opening up a buyers account. |

Good reviews get Filtered, bad reviews go to your Profile page.
One horrible review can shut down your business, overnight. |

At last,There's always light at the end of the tunnel;)
I got my final fee back and ebay removed the negative feedback left by this moron.
Down below is ebays respond! Code:
Hello xxxxx,
Thanks for your email regarding the removal of the feedback that was left by “xxxxxx-xxxxx" and the case that was filed by them. I understand you're concerned as you've already closed the case you filed against them.
I commend you for trying to resolve this matter by raising this in our attention and for closing the unpaid item case successfully.
Please rest assured that I have sent a copy of your email to our correspondence in a specialised department which will be able to investigate the Not As Described case further. You should receive a separate email from them.
Going forward, I have carefully reviewed your case and can confirm that the feedback you identified was removed as it fitted one of our feedback removal criteria.
Please note that our decision to remove the feedback does not constitute us finding that the identified feedback is defamatory or otherwise unlawful.
As you're a seller you would have received Detailed Seller Ratings as part of this buyer's feedback, please bear in mind that these will also be removed and your scores will be recalculated. Please also be advised that all the associated comments under this feedback will also be removed.
Do not be alarmed if the feedback is still on your feedback page as it may take a few days for the Feedback to disappear from the website, as this requires input from our technical team.
Be guaranteed that we do not condone such behaviour especially if it affects the reputation of good members like you. We continuously monitor such activity and if we see a pattern of unpaid items on their account, we'll take appropriate action, which can include restricting or ending buying privileges.
You also did the right the right thing by raising this in our attention as relisting will lessen the chance of you having unnecessary cases like Seller Non-Performance, copy these links into a new browser window for more information:
http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/sell/unpaid-items.html
http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/sell/relist.html
http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/policies/seller-non-performance.html
Please also be advised that you can block certain members from bidding in your listing in future. Keep in mind that this will limit the number of buyers so choose carefully. For more information:
http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/sell/buyer-requirements.html
I would suggest that you review our new seller protection programme, please be advise that you can then report a buyer whom you feel has an abusive behaviour especially with this situation. For more detailed information on reporting a buyer please visit the site below:

I trust removing the negative feedback has helped to ease your concern. I appreciate your patience and understanding regarding this matter and wish you continued success on eBay.
Kind regards,
xxxx xxxx

| IndefinRestricT | 02-05-2013 12:21 AM | Damn, I didn't even think buyers could leave feedback if they haven't even PAID for the item.
I've never encountered that so that's totally new. If that's indeed the case, then ebay needs to change it right away as that seems like a bug.
