what is the max safe amount i can sell per month on a stealth account without ebay/paypal noticing me?

Depends massively on the account (how old it is, feedback, is the PP verified, any cases, DSR ect ect) and what you are selling.

Its like asking how long a bit of string is - depends on which string your asking about

its a pretty new account few weeks old with good feedback and paypal verified , there's selling limits on it anyway so no chance could they think im selling to much at the moment, but i want to run multiple accounts so what i was thinking was when my limits increase in the future when would a good time be to keep sales as they are by not adding any new products and move over onto another account, 1k 3k 5k per month without ebay taking a look at my account? all my items are being sold at under £10 each, thanks

You can sell what you can afford to NOT have on a 180 hold.

This is like the piece of string and what comes first chicken or egg.

Many different factors apply.

I never read response when I use the dongle.

Amounts you are talking about will open the account up to being checked.

For an account that's only a few weeks old I would still not yet be selling, and then start off with selling household items after 4 weeks.

At first I would put no more than a few hundred though eBay, for at least a few months, and then build it from there.

After 5 months, assuming you have good DSR and high feedback without issues, you can start to look at putting 1k a month though the account. The older the account become and the more feedback you have with high DSR, you more you will be able to put though it each month. There is no exact amount when it comes to how much is safe and how much is not.

It also does depend on the product, some are seen as high risk to eBay, others are not.

ok cheers for the info, i sold quite well on suspended account took in about 1.6k per month for 4 month but made some bad mistakes selling same items on my gf account that had loads of vero hits, did not have a clue about ip addresses at the time so when my gf account went down mine came with it, staying away from vero this time though and i know i can do much better this time round in sales, so what i was trying ask is there any kind of figure for what will trip a request for any type of info at any time or is it not known and we just go with the flow and see what happens, ive got to ask as 2 month ago i did not even know what an ip address was and ive learnt alot from this site but dont want to get 2-3 months down the line and have my account suspended again and get told that i past a trigger mark of 5k sales in 3 months or summit stupid like that, then i would regret not asking.

No exact figure that trigger this sort of thing.

Just a case of being careful, don't go nuts on a new account, pretend your totally new to eBay and let your selling figures slowly increase as the months go by.

Tough question - a lot depends on what you intend to sell. Assume eb/pp notices EVERYTHING - whether they choose to act will depend on your reliability, credibility, and ability to avoid risky behaviour...

Sell to your limits but not super high $ value at the beginning...
