Surely asking for a ban?

I was browsing around eBay on the hunt for 1p auctions etc to bid on to build some quick feedback. Then I came across people selling "pictures of a bus" etc which would be "messaged" to you if you happened to win.

I thought it was in the rules that items had to be posted by physically going to posts or whatever

What I am asking here is this against eBay rules to do this ? It's basically selling feedback right?

What if you bought/won this item would you be in the firing line from eBay as well?

Thanks.

Yes it is against the rules and yes people still do it.

Are you looking to get your new account if you make 1p purchases?

Buyers get stung too.

If you decide to buy for feedback, allow yourself a certain budget. Then buy items for feedback of varying amounts.

Make your account look more natural.

you can buy these auctions no problem, ebay don't really ban you for buying as there is no point, i bought 700 of these in 2 months all 1p auctions and nothing happens it just boosts your feedback really quick just don't sell them as digital goods can't really be sold.

I do stealth accounts I have on the sidelines and have never registered as selling accounts. Basically buy a few cheap items to get some history on eBay. Age the account and register as a seller months down the line.

I will say there are better things to buy than pictures, cheaply than don't raise as many flags.
