Growing FB quickly

Hey,

Just came across this situation which is working for me very well. Assuming Buyer FB matters........

I have tried to find things I sorta want to buy that are pretty low-dollar. I have realized that if I buy these thingys form certain high level sellers that they leave immediate FB even before shipping the items. I mean, like within a few minutes. I don't have to wait several days, leave FB and hope they do the same...they do it automatically.

I just bought two things tonight with a stealth account and got two FBs right away.

I just hope it matters in getting my selling limits raised.

It will not work for selling at all.

If you make stealth accounts and do this before you register to sell it makes a small difference in avoiding some of the MC999 and initial selling limit roadblocks.

The only way to get selling limit increases is to get feedback, high DSRs and maximize your selling limits. There is some strategy to increase limits based on what you list, etc. But there are also category restrictions and that is all for another huge discussion.

Personally I do buy to get buyer's feedback.

That was the old way I got taught.

I have success with limits in the long term.

Good Luck

I can tell you with absolute certainty that eBay does not take feedback recieved as a buyer into account when considering account limit increases. They only consider the feedback you have generated as a seller. I know this from a very informative conversation that I had with a very helpful eBay employee.

Feedback recieved from buying is only good for increasing your feedback score and positive feedback percentage.

So why is there feedback for buyers at all? Is it just a remnant from a period that buyers could receive Neg feedback, and they just haven't gotten around to eliminating it?

That's a great point....I get a big kick when buyers brag to me that they have 100% positive feedback.....

It is pretty dumb that there's feedback for buyers but at this point it really doesn't matter, what matters is " Positive Seller Feedback".

The reason why many of the Senior Members are apposed to doing Feedback Manipulation is due to the newbies trying it.....then coming back to the forum crying about how they got caught and how to fix it.

Let's be honest, a lot of people ONLY come to the forum when poop hits the roof...Or PM other members to death wanting help.

I prefer getting few buyer feedback before getting into sales...for limits and credibility of the seller account, the SELLER feedback is more important to eB's eyes.

Buyers should not have feedback but something like completed transactions or something like that. To me buyer feedback is important, I look at it and use it when something seems weird.
