Feedback timescale

I tried to search, but couldn't find the answer. When receiving feedback is there a limit of time the buyer has to leave feedback? Some guy hasn't left me feedback, and just messaged me expecting me to refund him after nearly FOUR months. If he cannot leave me negative feedback I will just block him, as the item isn't even faulty and he just changed his mind without offering to return it.

Can I just block him and forget about him, or can he leave negative/open cases. I'm thinking after 45 days have passed he cannot do anything, but I would like to confirm here.

Usually I just refund people and have thousands of transactions with 0 cases escalated going against me, but to ask for a refund after 4 months when what he bought still works fine, is a joke. He's deadly serious too.

I'm fairly sure after this length of time (4 months) he can do nothing. He can't open a case and he can't leave feedback (good or bad).

Pretend like you never got that email. PayPal will only expect your courtesy after 45 days.

They have no way of opening a case in eBay after 60 days. I may be wrong, but you will win.

Okay, thanks for the replies. I will just add him to the block list.

The time limit for feedback is 60 days.

He could still open a case via paypa, as they have 180 days to do so. Most buyers don't realise this though.

There are examples of buyers opening cases manually with a Paypal agent up to 180 days after the sale - annoying.

Your issue is not feedback though.

Your buyer might go after a chargeback.

What's the background?

I blocked them and haven't heard anything, so I assume i'm okay. The background is: He just wants to return it after four months. It works, so i'm not sure why he wants to do that. I have seen buyers who just return everything they have bought and I think it's because they buy things and then they're like "I can't afford this" and return things. Either that or they do an old school "buy a dvd/game/anything and watch/use it, return it when you don't need it"

I had a buyer return something back to me which was packaged poorly and got broken, and then messaged me a few days later about returning something else, which he hadn't even bought from me, so was obviously returning everything to re-coop some money.

I refund anyone for any reason I couldn't care, but 4 months is just..
