Anyone tried to do USPS change of address to get items from your shadow address?

Is it possible to do online change of address with USPS from the one you registered for eBay with to your real one so your mail gets forwarded? Anyone tried that? Would any issues come up if you do that?

I'd have to spend hundreds of dollars on building up buyer feedback and never receive any of the stuff I order. Windowshopping at its worst :D

I don't think you can do that. I know when you do a change of address form, they do send an envelope to the address that you previously lived at. And then the people living there might be kind of weirded out by that. Unless you used an address from a house that you know was just purchased. Whether or not this is legal...you would have to ask someone else.

Done it via a business address, not sure about a private residence. It's not illegal due to the :or current resident plause.

Why not get a usps po box if you do a lot of shopping? it's a lot more secure & faster.
