Quick Seller Feedback?

Hi All,

Ive got a sleeper account that i need to wake up now :p . I need 20 seller feedbacks to avoid my money being held by paypal which is likely to happen as each transaction is £150+

Anyone know how i can quickly build up 20+ seller with DSR feedbacks in like 72hours?

Any help is appreciated

Thanks!

I get your concept, lad. I also get a picture of red flags waving. IMO, a quick way to lose accounts. Recommend you look for a safer alternative especially for paypal. QUICK is not something that works.

Is it 20 feedbacks you need to stop the 21 day hold? Is that the secret number?

aking 11-05-2008 10:22 PM

just find 20 cheapie items and list them all.

My understanding was 100 feedback was the magic number for all the 21 day holds to go away.

Not sure where I read it or if its even true.

Currently I'm at nine feedback with approx. 40 transactions and everything over $15. has had the 21 day hold.

That has nothing to do with the 21 day hold

If that is not the case, when does it finally stop?

i say just list a few cheap items a day until you have 20 on there

I am not sure, but maybe getting both buyers and sellers feedbacks will help as well?

When your account is 6 months old and has a feedback of 100+
According to eBay

OR
Until you discover the trick to get around it.

aking 11-06-2008 03:31 PM

just list some cheapie items and buy a few things.

You act like I follow your posts or something. LOL Anyways, looking around the internet like you suggested, I came across...adding a delivered tracking number, having someone open a dispute and then close it (which will get your account eventually limited), and waiting the entire 21 days. Am I getting any warmer?

I thought this board was about helping everyone, but I guess you have your own priorities by the way you handled yourself in the thread you directed me too.

I can tell by your other posts around the forum, you seem to be a rather intelligent person.
But if you do figure it out I suggest that you not post it in this forum.
There are reasons for this that you might not understand but you will if you hang out here long.

Yes it does. For UK users, once you get 20 DSR ratings you no longer recieve the 21 day hold. 100 feedback is needed for outside of Europe

^^^^^^^^^^^
No it does not.
My original statement still hold true and is NOT false or wrong.

This is a US thread not a UK thread.
The UK has its own threads and its own section of the forum.

Thread has a bit of everything. The OP and mattcafc are both from the UK. Flags now on their profiles.

Disagree about the 100 FB for other countries, mattcafc.;)

OK Brownlad, here's a reply I got PayPal a few weeks back after my account got Han Soloed (frozen):

Quote:::
I have read your email Mr. ****** regarding the payment hold on your
eBay item. There are some criteria to meet to avoid the eBay payment
hold.

Your payments will not be held if you meet all the following
requirements:

* Your eBay tenure is more than 6 months.
* Your eBay feedback rating more than 100.
* Your buyer dissatisfaction is less than 5%.

Or if you meet all the following requirements:

* Your Detailed Seller Rating is greater than 4.5.
* Total Detailed Seller Ratings Received: More than 20 in the last
12-months.
* Your buyer Dissatisfaction less than 5%.

If you have had more than 5% dissatisfied buyers in the last 30 days,
you are required to offer PayPal or a merchant credit card and may have
their payments held.

These requirements are per individual eBay account. If you don't meet
these criteria, we recommend that you implement best practices to reduce
buyer disputes, claims and chargebacks.

Please let me know if you need further assistance.

:::Unquote.

It took me a few days to find out what 'tenure' means but it basically means how old your account is. It's gotta be older than 6 months.

For DSR criteria I thought about maybe selling cheapskate stuff and then offering it for free if they leave you a 5 DSR for each criteria. I dunno haven't really thought that one through enough though. But it's open for business for sure.
