Is it possible?

Hey,
I opened a new eBay account and bought like 20+ Ebook for feedback.
After a day i got my seller limits suspension,
Is it possible to get banned from buying Ebooks?

Re: Is it possible?

Absolutely yes!

That is seen as feedback manipulation from eBay.

Re: Is it possible?

Exactly yanov you probably got banned for doing exactly what ebay realised you were doing, buying to create your own feedback, people have done that before you and ebay have got extremely good at recognising the signs!

Buyers feedback is rubish anyways....
Make no sense at all.

Re: Is it possible?

Buying cheap stuff is a know feedback manipulation and will result in a permanent suspension. Moreover, buyer feedbacks are useless. I suggest selling something popular like generic iphone cases for a low price, even at a loss, just to make legit seller feedbacks.

Re: Is it possible?

Feedback is crap

Good photos, good description a good price wins

Re: Is it possible?

For people who know how ebay works, feedback is nothing, but for newbie buyers feedbacks are very important, as they are afraid that low feedback means the seller is not trustworthy. They just don't know that they can return anything for any reason in case of any issues.

Who knows how ebay works? I say 99.9% of buyers have no clue of which I am 1 of the 99 that does not have a clue.

Re: Is it possible?

That happens but not often try and list something

Re: Is it possible?

Yes I listed my first item and its up for sale. Should I try to list another item or wait till the 5 day auction ends.. because I asked the livechat rep and she said it should show up on your next listing or on revision.
So I revised my item but it didn't show, so thats why I was thinking I might get hit with a $0/0 next time...

What country are you in?

If you had stated limits such as 5 or 10 it is ok to list to those limits especially if you are running auctions IF YOU ARE NOT SELLING RISKY ITEMS.

Good call danshan.
I will clarify this. List 5 or ten items. Your limits should show. If they don't, there is ways of testing those limits but it can be risky.

He also stated live chat, so I am assuming he is not in the USA.

Im from USA. and its a brand new seller account. I just listed my first listing this morning, but just before you click on 'list your item' you can sometimes see a livechat or call on the top of the page.

Yea, I don't think he is in the USA. Not sure why members say they are when they are not.

I don't have any issues listing 5 or 10 items. That is how I get my limits increased in a week or less.
