Buyer wants saled discount for item purchased pre sale.urpus
 

Buyer purchases item on Monday, sale starts Tuesday, buyer asks for discount on Wednesday. Because this is manufacturer initiated sale, they deny request because item was not on sale when purchased....

Buyer being a **** head leaves NEGATIVE feedback for me because they did not get the discount. But buyer needed item ASAP. which they received in 3 business days. eBay won't remove feedback because "buyer has the right to their opinion" even it is the buyer's goal to scam me out of $75.00

They are too busy to care about you individually, they have thousands of "Top-Rated Power Sellers." Generally a seller who becomes Top-Rated has dispute-resolution skills/techniques. On eBay, the customer is YOURS and it is your responsibility to resolve disputes. Why didn't you just refund the buyer the amount of discount?

Maybe you can get them to revise the feedback by offering to refund the amount of the discount now?

The buyer does have the right to their opinion, and frankly I'd be pissed too if I bought something and it unexpectedly went on sale the next day

I had a recent thread about these type of buyers. I would rather not have this type of buyer ever.
You could have offered a return for a refund and explained it is NOT your discount to offer and you don't make the rules, etc...

If I was reading this correctly, then the issue is with the manufacturer and not you OP?

it was already shipped, so seller could not cancel sale.
