Paying ebay fees with US Bank prepaid

Hi guys,
I need to pay my ebay fees since I withdrew too much from the PP balance. I got a prepaid visa from the store and its a US bank one. Will this work?

I added it to my PP wallet and I need to confirm it once the small charge hits. Is this normal? Once confirmed can I use it to pay the fees?

Thanks!

You don't want to use reloadable cards, and you shouldn't be adding anything to your Paypal wallet. I don't recommend reloadable cards because those kind require you to provide your SSN so they can verify your identity.

I've used prepaid vanilla visa's to pay overdue fees a few times. I don't go anywhere near Paypal, I just click "pay with a credit/debit card" on the "make a one time payment" page.

Just pay the credit card directly to eB - avoid PP, OP

I tried to use "one time payment" but it wouldn't go through. The card is a prepaid debit, not a credit card as stated on the back. I dont wanna get stuck with this card since the fees are around $300.

Any ideas?

Prepaid debit doesn't mean the same as prepaid gift card. Debit implies there is an underlying checking account attached to the card. Did you have to "register" the card in your name?

Even if it were a prepaid gift card you would register the zip code you plan to use it in. Does the registered zip code match the zip code on the account?

I'm honestly not sure why you wouldn't be able to just click "Pay with your credit card" on the one time payment page, unless it has something to do with the card. If a card isn't declined for insufficient funds it's usually because of a failed AVS check.

OK sorry guys. After the 3rd attempt it went through for some reason. I normally use Vanilla Visa's. Not using this brand again. Thank you for all your help. Very much appreciated for the prompt replies.

Future reference on adding cards to PP wether it is debit or gift always put it on PP as credit.
