is it a bad idea to link my bank account to my paypal
 

hey guys, i have already put my debit card onto my new stealth paypal account, but just read somewhere that paypal and ebay can find out that the names and things are different! is this true? do i need to get a prepaid cc instead? i am from UK btw, thanks

you have to link you bank to paypal to sell on ebay, but if you mean for fees, then no, you can choose option of paying via debit card or vcc as back-up if there is not enough in your paypal balance to cover it..

Is this true that you US sellers always have to add an bank account to PayPal to sell on eBay? In Finland you just need to add CC and confirm it, it takes all limitations away and verifies, link verified PayPal to eBay and use PayPalto pay eBay fees and your done. It's this easy in Finland to start selling...

It is true in the UK. They have more options in the US due to the proliferation of virtual bank accounts and such like.

To answer your question, it's not a BAD idea.

Without linking your bank account you might get hit with PayPal's suspension, lasting till you confirm your bank account.
