Question about the fee changes

This is not about stealth or getting out of paying fees. I just have a question about the new fee rates.

I have an item that sells for $160. Previous fees were $7.12 FVF and $.35 listing fee. Now the fees are $9.50 FVF and $.50 listing fee which is more than a 33% increase.

It looks to me that they are pushing people to subscribe to a store but it doesn't look like it is worth the cost. A basic store subscription is $16 but it looks like the only savings you get from it is $.30 in listing fees. So you would have to list 54 items a month just to break even.

Am I missing something on how to list in order to save on fees or should I start investing in KY?

Investing in KY.... haha

No, you pretty much hit the nail on the head. Times is tough, and they're passing it on to sellers. They make it very, very hard for someone to start selling with little or no start up costs. Just like taxes, they should charge the small guy less. But they don't. They charge small people more, just like the government.

Ok, Thanks for the reply.

By the way, KY is made by Johnson & Johnson, stock symbol is JNJ.
