If the accounts basically dead should I pay the fees?

Hey guys, I have a sticky situation. need some advice. I know some of you may think this is immoral but paypal denied my access to the funds I have in a limited account so this could be my revenge

I have a 3 month old ebay/pp account. The account is good I was not getting holds on almost everything for the last 1.5 month feedback 100% positive and dsrs between 4.8 and 5.0 but something strange has come up.

When I try to go and list ANYTHING on the ebay account I can't. Stuff I havent even sold I can't. Im getting the dreaded you've reached the limit for selling this **** for this 30 day rolling period. I waited a week and tried again with same items. same thing. waited 2 weeks same results. I thought it was maybe the categories so I even tried stuff waaay different and no success. I did try a baseball card and it worked great like those make any money.

Here's the thing I have $200 in my paypal account which I could withdraw. I owe ebay almost $1000 in fees which will come out of the paypal account in 2 weeks. All account info is stealth.

Would you pay the fees and hope you will be able to sell again? or would you just say **** it and move on and let Ebay eat it

P.S. I know you can have more then one ebay per paypal account and I could do that but to me thats just like starting over

The account isn't dead, you just reached a limit, no?

Why not keep it healthy? With those kind of fees I can only assume it was a money maker.

you owe $1,000 for a 3month old account that you can not list on (probably have the 90day selling restriction Im guessing? It should be lifted soon). If this is your oldest account and you are close to making that mark and having your listing privilege evaluated then Id say keep it. Call up eBay and ask them what gives, then make your decision. You cant really ask people what they think, cuz its not their account and they dont know what kind of money you are making with it, along with other specific account details.

If you made that much money to have that much in fees then I would definetly pay it since you'll be able to make the same amount next month.

agreed 100% all depends on the amount of income your making, is it worth it? you tell us lol...

^^^^^What he said. First off I would never let the fees get to $1000 in the first place. I usually try to pay them when they get around $200. Just b/c its a pain to have to come out of pocket $1000 all of a sudden. Kinda like paying taxes on your mortgage, i'd rather have it included in my mortgage rather than pay it twice a year, lol. If it's stealth, just move on to another account. That's why its important to have back up accounts ready.

BINGO...just get more accounts from the back-up shed.
