$230 owed to ebay ics involved
 

Hi i sold something to ebay and they charged me $230. I just thought screw it and didnt pay. 45 days later i got a call from ics that scared me. I told them that i was going to pay but i really dont want to give them at ebay my money. I gave them my real info but they dont have my ssn. Should i just pay them? Is there anyway i can get out of this?

lol @ "sold to eBay", that was so funny, you made my day. I think you're trying to say that you sold an item on ebay? If you gave them your real info then you will eventually have to pay them if you want to continue using that account, if not say hello to the "collection agency"

If you owe the money, then pay it. You knew what the fees would be when you listed your item for sale. If you sold it successfully, then eBay completed their part of the deal and they deserve to be paid.

As an FYI, don't think that just because you never gave them your SSN that this cannot end up on your credit report. You do NOT need an SSN to report to the bureaus. And if ICS wants to attach your SSN to their file, it can be easily and legally obtained by them for under 10 cents.

Simply put. If they got real info on you. PAY IT!
