Ebay chasing for unpaid fees etc
E bay/ pay Pal in their wisdom decided to close my account during several auctions and 2nd chance offers! At the time i was still waiting for some goods to be delivered after receiving payment the previous few days. Anyway the buyers obviously panicked as i was no longer a registered e bay user! So after many live chats with them they still wouldnt re-open my account just so i could deal with the previous buyers. So they basically refunded my buyers over 1700 euros worth and are now chasing this money. I have sent them a "send me a CCA signed agreement letter" and they have responded within the 12 days that
we are being informed that our client does not hold a signed credit agreement for this account, however our client informs us that you had been advised of the terms and conditions of this account during the set up process and our client believes it is not possible to set up an account with ebay without your agreement to their terms and conditions. Our client ebay have advised that there is a copy of ebays user agreement on-line our wedsite and is freely available to view. Please contact ue with your repayment or advise us how you intend to deal with the matter.
So has anybody received one of these and what have they done? |
