Not 100% sure here but depending on what you go suspended for, you may want to go ahead and move some of that money before it gets locked down. I have had accounts on ebay get suspended in the past and Payal followed shortly after locking my cash down. That was over 2 months ago and im still waiting. If only paypal paid a good interest rate... :amen:

ebay refunded a buyer after i refused to (real account had suspended indefinately) and they then sent several emails over and over about it then i got a letter from a collection agency and then some calls for about 3 weeks then everything stopped and havnt heard anything since. Never paid it.

Unless its a high balance i wouldnt worry. If it involves fees i would do the right thing and pay them. If it involves ebay refunding someone and you didnt offer refunds and you sent the item as described than i wouldnt pay them anything

Unless your ssn is given and your name and address, etc. then really nothing to worry about. Even if it hit your credit report you could dispute it. And if you were sued they would have to serve you. Plenty of ways to avoid service. I deal with these people everyday

Haha..

Yes, with stealth money.. Not as if Ebay is actually providing some real, tangible product.

Just rent of digital real estate. And they control their little digital world.

I owe them who knows how much.. Over $4000. haha.

Of course, I have paid them about $400,000, and since they owed me at atleast $4000 in losses due to something they did back in 2008 (i.e. ~ "Best Match" not working for about 3 months after launch and causing me to loose $12,000 in revenue), I don't exactly feel bad about it.

Not sure on UK, but they do send debt collectors in USA.

I just ignored their calls.. And then once in a while picked up the phone and gave them a piece of my mind and controlled the conversation.

Told them how I felt ebay owed me, rather than I owing Ebay. And that if they want to pay me, I would be more than happy to take their money.

In UK, maybe wise to only use Stealth accounts. I have heard something about your little government there supporting the cereb of Ebay.

Like as if Ebay is some good honest company that rightfully should have your money.

Should pay so they don't dig into your accounts.
