Account on Hold for outstanding fees: other household accounts OK?
 

My account is currently on hold for unpaid seller fees. Doesn't look like I can pay the fairly large amount until next week. The account has been on hold for maybe a month.

If my wife uses her account in the meantime to sell some things is that going to cause an issue? Her account is like 8 years old but she doesn't sell much and hasn't listed anything in a couple years. I don't want either account to get issues from this.

If they are linked in ANY way, you can bet her account will have issues. ONLY if you have operated each via stealth methods, can you be safe. You are new here so I am assuming you havent....

Do not touch that other account until you pay those fees.

Guessing they are already linked so if you do not pay them hers will follow yours if something happens.

If your wife has used her account with the same IP, then they are linked.

Any activity from her will not be liked by ebay/paypal while your account has the issue of outstanding fees.

Avoid doing a thing with her account.

Resolve your fees issues as soon as possible.

Welcome to the forum. If it was me and knowing what I do today. I would immediately start practicing stealth. Totally & completely. Practicing stealth has to be a complete swift move it's not a gradual process. Wish you much luck.
