Pay eBay fees with PayPal balance?
 

Okay so here's the situation:

I have an invoice due at the end of the month and I have a sufficient amount of money in my PayPal balance to pay it.

But the problem:

I can't pay for the fee because I do not have a bank account or a credit/debit card, all I got is the money in my PayPal balance. When I try to pay, it asks me for a card etc but I don't have one.

So...

- How do I pay the fee using my PayPal balance without having to use a bank account/card?
- Will eBay take the money out of my PayPal account automatically when the fee is due since I linked my PayPal account to my eBay one?
- What happens if I don't pay the fee? I also heard that they will send debt collectors to your house BUT I changed my address and phone number, can they still send letters to my house/come to my house?

I read that a Visa Gift Card can be used online. Can I use this to pay my EB fee using 'Make a one-time payment' option?

Ebay CAN take the money automatically if you agreed to use the PP account when you turned eB account into a seller account.

As for what happens...we don't advocate not paying fees

Not sure you are even making an account correctly.

To eventually get funds you will need a bank account.

At some point you will need to verify and confirm paypal.

That takes both a bank account & VCC.

What's the reason you have not done that yet?

I do want to pay the fee, it's only £1.60.

So is paying the fee using a Visa Gift Card possible or not? And also, when you say 'agreed to use PP account when you turned EB account into seller account' what do you exactly mean? I linked my PP account to the EB one?

Yes you can pay the fee with a visa gift card.

When you made your eB into a seller account, did you give your PP account as the source of fees or did you use a credit card? (That's what I mean)

I think I did because it says my EB account is linked to my PP one and I made it so that buyers send their payments to my PP account (when I sold something, their payment went straight to my PP). However it says that I have no automatic payment methods, is that a problem?

The problem's been solved, I contacted PayPal and they gave me the steps to pay using my PP balance without a card or a bank account. I had to click 'Make a one time payment' and I just clicked 'Pay' and it came out of my balance. When I tried to do this earlier, it asked me for a card or bank account but now it didn't so problem solved I guess.

I remember seeing somewhere on this forum list of countries that support paying via paypal balance, but cant find it anywhere nor on google.

Anybody have a link to more info?

Dont use paypal use entropay to set up a card load it, when the time comes to pay fees log in to your EBAY account, click make a payment when there scroll down where it says credit card in a little blue hyperlink use that.

To pay fees?

Use entropay and only use the numbers of the card.
