Default running away from ioffer fees

hi guys,

i know this is the ebay fees forum but it is pretty much the same concept.

SWIM spent $70 on listing fees but made only 1 sale worth $5 profit over 2 weeks. this leads SWIM to conclude that ioffer sucks. also buyers there are unbelieveably stupid - they bid below manufacturing price (including international express shipping!!)... SWIM doesn't know what they expect...

so SWIM was thinking - can he just close the ioffer account without paying fees? would it lead to anything?

omg they won't let me remove the credit card!

WOW....you owe the fees. It does not matter that you did not make a sale. You contracted with Ioffer to list your items. Likewise as a matter of ethics, morals, and law, you should pay.

In the future take it slow and test the waters...........

rafc, you know ioffer is free to list right? It's only the added things like bold, homepage featured, etc. that cost to list. So you bought all those and your items didn't sell.

I am using Ioffer right now and have only had fees when sales have went through. He must be using add-ons.

loads of people make big orders then don't pay, and ioffer restricted me under that unrated transaction policy -- based on those non paying bidders!!!!! i basically have $70 in fees to list items featured and final value fees for items which have all been taken down 1 week after i registered (this was a month ago) and which have never even been paid for!!!

it is a joke and i've written to them refusing to pay anything until they get my items back up and credit me for all the fools bidding but not paying.

rafc, I think you should tell SWIM to be more careful what he does when he starts a new business venture.SWIM must read the fine print next time. $70.00 is not so bad to pay out to have a clear conscience.

I think SWIM should just pay. You never know when you might need the acct and SWIM should have thought about it before racking up on listing features.

Ioffer does have free listing fees.. It's only extra if you add bold, homepage features, etc.

But if you have buyers that don't pay, just contact ioffer and do the non paying buyer, and your fees will be refunded - lowering your cost that you owe. YOu might just have to message the buyers, stating that they need to pay, or write saying that they cancel. This way you can skip the whole nonpaying buyer, and just message ioffer cs directly asking to get seller fees returned because of transaction was cancelled by buyer.

But ioffer doesn't allow you to remove any credit card information from them. That is suspicious in itself huh?
