Credit card information doesnt match ebay user information
 

I searched...didnt find what I was looking for.

Id like to use a credit card, one of which has never been linked to eBay in anyway, to pay my fees. Some say..go ahead. Some say..raises flags...

So the account is pre 07, fees have been paid before with another card linked to the ebay account name. My question is, if I used a card with another name, and address, will this raise flags?

Or if someone can point me to a previous post...

Yes it probably will raise flags.

if the billing address on the card doesnt match the ebay user's address, it might raise some flags

I did it many times with no problems

one time payments I've read here that it's a different system (forgotten the name of the system tho) and the information isn't shared with ebay

I've also got a card with dif details on it. Where it says to enter the billing details - I left them the same as those already on the account. Obviously, the card details had different details.

But it added the card fine. I don't think they do an AVS on it.

Ohhh! So I was misunderstanding this whole time. They dont check the address, only the numbers...?
