Ebay fees entropay declined
 

I have had my ebay fees declined with my entropay card due to no funds as I normally pay every few days with paypal, my card has since been removed from automatic payment method, I have had a polite email from ebay to state it's been declined and I paid the fees straight away,
I would like to set up paypal as an automatic payment but there seems to be mixed thoughts on here,
Just wondering can I re enter my entropay load it and pay with it in a few days when I have some fees to pay ? Or just go through the paypal option and hope for the best (stealth acc for 15 months with no problems)

Just make sure your entropay has funds

Avoid the intrusion of paypal always.

It seems that Entro becomes too much over-abused, quite many reports lately of EP cards being refused.

ebay always tries to take payment from your paypal balance first, and then the attempt the other payment methods on file.

You will probably be asked to set it up again when you try to list first or second time.

The only thing that is not advised, is to let paypal take money from your bank account.

You will be able to add the VCC again.

Entropay still working perfectly to pay fees, just paid mine with it no problem at all.

Sure, it works, but I wonder why did the number of refused Entropay payments increased?

People not using it correctly could be an answer to that, it certainly took me long enough to get it working in the first place. Never worked until they emailed me about why I wasn't using my card, when the reality was I had been unable to get it working. After that email tried again and it's worked ever since.

Creating new cards for using on separate accounts of course is important as well and maybe some people who have been having problems have not realised that. Getting enough funds on the card to cover the payment that is going to be made essential as well that not everyone seems to realise.

re mixed thoughts - why is OP not just paying from their balance? it is the norm
