I registered ages ago but was told it would be activated at the end of the month ... as of today, nothing. Still using paypal ...

I think it's manually being done by a ebay agent so i'm just in the queue of hundreds of thousands of other accounts.

Your account will be activated for managed payments by the evening of 08-05-2020. Once activated, your existing listings will be automatically updated and will reflect the different ways your buyers can pay. You should not see any interruptions to orders received while your account activation is in process. You will receive a confirmation once your account activation is complete.

Got the same a few weeks ago. Didn't hear anything else until account was activated.

I've had the usual back. Supply ID and bank statement. Sent the ID and had the message back to say it has been verified. I haven't done the bank statement yet.

Not really. As has been mentioned, funds are not available until you print out a shipping label or mark the item shipped. If you print labels, you have the option of using your paypal account or the held funds to print shipping. There is a 24 hour business day lag for payouts, but they've all gone through, no problem. If a customer opens a case or wants to make a return, the funds for the item are held until the situation is resolved. I will say that I have not really seen anyone using payments other than paypal. The other options are there, but paypal still seems to be the preferred method.

As of today, three of my stealth accounts have successfully been activated for MP without any issues using the method I've stated I would use to register the accounts.

I really appreciate you taking the time to share your story here to help others. It's terrific of you to contribute your experiences to the forum.

But for the many people asking questions and looking for a follow-up I think its worth pointing out that this is not "true" stealth.
