Are Personal accounts able to use Paypal Until 2023?
 

Hi, was wondering if MP will only be required by business accounts for now and person accounts have until 2023 is my understanding?

I read very early on that PayPal would remain an option for buyers (therefore sellers too) for a good amount of time. I can't remember whether it was as long as until 2023, but certainly for a year minimum.

It wouldn't make any sense at all to simply stop PayPal overnight. It will have to be phased out over a reasonable amount of time.

it says it will have most of the sellers to use MP at the end of this year. NOt sure how they define "most". Guess we need to wait and see

I have been told by ebay in Asia that MP are not coming in here until at 2023, maybe more

Paypal is an accepted payment method inside adyen for buyers, doesn't mean it's going to keep being used by sellers

What you say is wrong.
Paypal will always be an accept method of payment for buyers. Same as many other forms of payment. That's the whole point of MP - to allow the seller to accept ALL these forms of payment that are processed for them by MP.
Paypal will NOT be available directly to sellers though, as it will already be covered by MP - same as all other forms of payment.
