I received this message from eBay:

We are writing to notify you that your payouts have been temporarily placed on hold while we review some details. Please allow up to 5 days for this review to take place.

You will be notified if we require further information, should there be no further concerns, your payouts will be unblocked.

Please note this temporary block will not impact your regular operations(listings/selling).

Anybody else receive this message? What was the outcome?

I only got the message yesterday, so I will keep you all posted. Hopefully it is just the MP equivalent of Paypal's 21 day holds on funds.

Is this a stealth MP or real MP with real docs?

That usually means they are looking at something, is there no red boxes, saying verify bank, etc.. ? What are the details/ Real ssn/ein and name matches on bank?

No, none of the red boxes. I'm used to getting those on my MP accounts every now and then, and having to verify with docs. Those are usually easy to pass.

It is a stealth MP.

If something goes wrong, I can get the accounts checked about what they are looking and what needs to be done from our end. Not for money as I am not approved seller here. I will share some unique account related info so you can trust my response.

I got an mc011 on a stealth MP last year and they did release the funds, but this account did not receive this weird message about a 5 day review. So we will see how this one goes and I will keep everyone updated.

was it on MP for a long time? I am wondering if this suspension came as part of an initial check or if they make checks later as well , for example like paypal once certain amounts have been received

nevertheless the questions remain valid as a restriction is still a suspension light and not everyone is gonna come out of it

Question. If you use a legit LLC for an account, if that account was ever to get banned could you reuse the llc details again on a new account?

UPDATE:

I have a notice that my payments are on hold until the suspension is lifted. I contacted customer service and had 2 reps tell me that my funds will be released after 21 days if the restriction is not lifted.

I am skeptical, however both reps were at least consistent in telling me 21 days.

Anybody experience this before?

what did you sell?
3-21 days hold after tracking shows delivered.
I bot a $200 item from an Ebay seller with low feedback and first time seller,the payment was held,it is Xmas and he is new to selling and it is $200.
Usually 3 days after delivery,for high risk items either seller or buyer is high risk,then more than 3 days,up to 21 days

It seems they won't allow you to sell more but they will wait till all of your buyers' ebay guarantee window gets expired/passed. Then they are not at risk in releasing the payout so they will do it.

If the restriction is uplifted then they will allow you to sell but funds will get released after the stated date in their email.

Can you guys please follow up and let us know how this turned out? The forum is useless if the story just drops off with no answer as to what happened. Thanks in advance!

So far no update on my end. My funds are still on hold, not being released. One account has had them on hold for as long as 2 months. I will update when/if I receive my funds.

Why is the other one held for 2 months? Was it stealth? My stealth funds have been held and will never be released they said
