What happens if a seller registers to sell from another country?

Let's say I'm a seller from France and I want to list on ebay UK.
How does managed payment work?
Let's say I'm not selling on ebay France.

Same question for USA and other countries.

Just wondering if there was a glimmer of hope of busting the new crappy payment system

Its going to be a worldwide payment system so everyone is being forced into it

As JamesNorth101 has said, it's going to be worldwide so there's no getting away from it.

Using your scenario, you'd be required to have your bank account domiciled in France, your country of residence and you'd be paid in the local currency even if you do not sell on the .fr domain. You can list items on the .co.uk or .com domains but all the info above will still hold.

If you list on a domain extension that is managed by a payment entity different than yours, your settlement will be handled by two different entities before it gets to your bank.

Don't take this as a final position but I've read that data brokers (not your regular credit reference agencies) are now involved. If there's any truth to that, then I think MP will change stealth - significantly pivoting from what it once was when we had only PayPal to worry about.

Anyway, I don't expect eBay to surpass Amazon in difficulty in one giant leap, yet Amazon is still possible. :thumb:

it is likely that the verification will be individual for each country of registration and will not depend on where items will be sold. the main issue here is of course that some countries are extremely strict and others are somehwhat easier , for example MP on USA is hell

I'm from South Africa. I really hope registration with xxxx docs works since I believe I wont be subject to the soft credit checks. If not I'll be buying and dissolving shelf companies as the accounts come and go for whatever reason
