Not getting invited to ebay MP

Has anyone NOT got invited to MP? If so will we have to manually ourselves have to transition to MP even without an invite?
Has anyone created or bought a new stealth account recently. What is the process of opening a new eBay account? Will ebay forcefully make me sign up for MP instead of adding mayment option for paypal?

No, you have to wait until you're invited

New accts are still created the same way and use paypal.
In the future that might change but I don't see that happening anytime soon.

You can request to be in MP. I have a client that wasnt invited and requested. It was a couple weeks until he was enrolled. He sells 5-8K a month.

I'm thinking about creating new stealth account. Let's see if they force me into MP while I sign up for a new seller account.

for eBay UK, eBay doesnt ask for MP info. its the same as usual

i dont see them asking for MP info until at least mid 2021.

It has changed. 2 of my 10 brand new stealths right out the gate have been emailed saying I must go MP by 2/14/2021

One brand new account no sales yet, and the other I sold just one small item. So it's true they are making it so all brand new accounts have to be MP very soon. Right now it's just a crap shoot on if its your new account or not. Real stealth is dead.

I'll focus on getting maximum out of whatever time is there to sell on ebay with no MP.

With MP stealth is dead or become alive, I won't put any energy as I'm too busy to see what can be done in the time I've with PP.

I recently had the "forced MP" email...but before I responded, I tried to change, add, revise etc...all the things the email said a I couldn't do, and not only could I do all the actions, but I got a pop saying "I missed the deadline and will have to wait until October before applying for MP" like it was a privilege, not a requirement. then I got an email saying "welcome to ebay" ...lol. but nothing has changed

Is your account still unable to sell or were you able to sign up for mp?

I have one new account thats being forced into MP and one old account that I cannot even invite myself into MP. Funny situation but going through the punches. I'll report more as I get through

I have a top rated powerseller account with about 300 sales and 70 feedback that hasn't been invited yet.
