Do 'good till cancelled' listings end?

I have not registered for managed payments and do not wish to do so at the moment despite being told I will not be able to list new items after the 18th January.

Does anyone know if my 1034 'good till cancelled' listings will automatically renew after the 18th Jan or will they just end? If they do end then I am unsure what I can do as my account is a real account registered in a friends name with real details but he now wants me to use my own bank account.

On the one business account I still have left which I haven't enrolled in MP, my GTC listings are still renewing each month. I'm just not able to edit any of them or adjust the available quantities.

This is US MP but I'm assuming it works the same for all of eBay.
