No, they don't need that. But I have been really low key seller - like less than 6k per year.

Hello, i was suspended from ebay and paypal long ago. i remember ebay for years would never ask for DOB or SSN number. so technical paypal have this information not the ebay of the past. so with their new MP system in any country if paypal didnt pass on to them SSN or TIN numbers with suspended accounts. we should be ok right? so we use our own SSN with ebay and change everything else. home address. email. phone number ?

I see sellers in the same category I sell with accounts in Russia and Ukraine no MP.

ukraine is already being invited , russia not yet

however , MP will be everywhere eventually. and russia has a hell of a verification. this can be seen on russian paypal which is fundamentally different from any other paypal because it uses verification methods stricter than anywhere else

Do you need a Russian PayPal to receive payments? Can’t it be any PayPal account?

any paypal is possible , there is just an increased risk of limitation on paypal and suspension on ebay. russian accounts are considered to be high risk so that you would have a hard time running volumes there unless it is developed over an extended period of time

Yes, I sell in small amounts for all accounts. I only hit MP registration on account which cross 600€ per this year. Other account without.
