Hello, I own one stealth account since 2012, with 277 feedback and high selling limits.
In the 2020 i sold about 37k euro of goods, and yesterday something strange happened:
I got an email from ebay where they told me that all my listings were removed and limitations was applied at my account until I switch from private seller to professional seller account. So I made the switch from private account to professional, and I relisted my items without problems. In the evening I've got another email from ebay staff where they apologizd for the previous mail, and told me that was an automated email and they removed the limitations and refunded me for the fees applied at the removed listings, but they confirmed that they will be check in the next days if I have switched to a professional account because in this month, the MANAGED PAYMENT its coming also in italy.
Now I have some questions:

1)Can I change the stealth info like Name and Surname with my real name, and also the address without any problems? (My info are not into the ebay blacklist)
2)What change now that the account have been switched to professional? What they will ask to me to send them when I will get the email that ask me to register to MANAGED PAYMENTS?
3) Can I use online prepaid card with iban like Revolut, viabuy, transferwise?


I don't know what to do because I don't have a job, I lost for the covid pandemic and ebay is my only gain for live, so I hope that people that managed to register their stealth accounts to MP can help me. Thanks.

today i have add my postepay iban to my stealth account with the new payment system , i hope the mismatch names works in italy too

this is weird, I have 4 personal accounts working quite well and none of them got the MP request yet...

I thought that MP was mainly for business accounts

I got the request to subscribe to MP just for my personal accounts, but not for businness. I'm really worried about that. I hope someone that successfully passed the MP for businness acc can tell us what they asked. Because my account was personal and now I was forced from ebay to switch it to businness. Unfortunately I dont have P.iva and I dont want it...

Maybe there is a requirement only with the aged accounts and a feedback quantity

I think it's business acounts first (March)
Then personal accounts that will be converted to business (March-April)
And then the rest ... (April-)
Things are moving very fast now !

P.iva is the number that you receive in italy when you create a corporation

I have been told by varios eBay reps that everyone will be on MP for 2021. Spain, Italy, France in the first quarter of the year. Where did you get your info?

I chatted with eBy reps too and they told me different things
some that is mandatory other not others don't know yet : it is confusing

for Europe was launched for the 2021 but there is no update yet ,the reason should receive the invite or not looks unknown

My actual situation is this:

my main account (not professional), legit and with my real IDs has not received MP request yet

my 2 stealth accounts (not pro), both received MP request on March 9th with the deadline to update account info (meaning to link a bank account) set on April the 30th.


date details given by aorcat are matching with those in my requests

I'm waiting further discoveries before making any steps, I think we can help each other on this one.

IN ITALY THE SERVICE starting the 1 of may 2021 , i have recived all invite for all of my italian ebay account.

Update : today I have received the first two payments through the new ebay platform (they have no longer been credited to paypal) but on the new ebay wallet (both sums tell me processing in progress) so I assume that they will be sent to my iban as the information page says in two days .

The problem is : the iban of the postepay evolution working ? And if the name is mismatched from the eBay account what happen ?

You should change stealth name with real name, this is what I did and after that I subscribed to MP. I just wondering how to do with my professional acc...obviously I don't really have a company for sell with professional account...I dont know if ebay will request me p.iva and other documents or just the same process of the personal account.

Are you into Managed payments with banks allowing you to open the account online without having to go to the branch/ office? (online bank accounts)

It is the same paymnt processor of etsy there you can use different names, if someone tried both can see if the procedure of verification is similar

UPDATE 2 : the first payment from eBay is just been sent from ebay this morning ( to my POSTEPAY EVOLUTION )

What about the SSN or Italian unique identification number for each citizien?, when registering onto MP, didn't you have to fill that? (+ Name, Date of Birth, Bank account, ...)

no because all information was filled in the first registration ( when i register ebay 2 years ago ) i just confirm all data without change anything and i have add just the IBAN

I guess that if your "SSN or citizien ID number" does not match with the public database your account will be banned in the short term, but who knows, let's keep fingers crossed !

If you registered as private to eBy shouldn't have asked for codice fiscale or and p.iva, isn't it, do they ask for it when pass to MP??

UPDATE : postepay evolution and all iban linked to a card like visa and MasterCard don’t work ( I don’t have recived the payment ) and in the eBay forum another seller have my same problem https://community.ebay.it/t5/Pagamen.../911501#M64621

Ps; eBay said that we need A IBAN without A CARD LINKED , so we need a ufficial bank account

Almost all of the IBANs are attached to a card in EU. It seems Postepay doesn't work with MP Italy.

It is good that you have the option to add another IBAN and your eBay account is still working. You can test with your bank IBAN or with Transferwise IBAN (read about success stories here).
